    Dear, Players

Today, I have a great idea...
    Moderator's should have more power...

I feel like Moderator's are mature, and can be given a lot more trust. I think their powers should be increased. To what I understand, most staff members have to constantly ask administration for help. They should be able to handle it them-selves on my opinion. I also think, they could have permission to move/lock threads. It's only fair, I mean it's their job to make sure a member posts in the right section... In game, I've also heard they can only ban for 1 hour.. What if they encountered a guy in the game, that was hacking.. As staff, I think they should be able to ban for 1 day, at the most. The community will be a lot more organized, and taken care of!

    GMods - Ok
    Normal Mods - Maybe
    Trial - No
    What do you guy's think?
    Regards,

Moderators had these permissions before, but someone abused it and tried to delete everything on the forum.
    So.....
I think GMods should get the ability to move stuff and all these extra things. Not trial mods.

Mods can lock threads in their section of the forums, and can report a thread to be moved by a higher up. As of right now this system works fine. The same with in-game bans, if a moderator finds a hacker they ban them for the max amount of time, and report them to S-MOD and up. As brawler stated, staff could easily abuse permissions so permissions are given out with lots of caution...

No.. We cannot ban for hacking. This is because it is very hard to tell if someone is hacking or not. We record or notify a higher up to help with hackers.
    Maybe move threads.
Since moderating chat is the main thing, I think an hour ban is plenty.

Lol.... I remember that.... That was like on the first week that I was on the forums....

Maybe this could work out! Idk.... I guess the mods we have now are mature enough...

Plus, it is much, much harder to become accepted as a mod compared to back then. Our expectations and requirements were a lot lower when the servers were MPS. If we give gmods extra permissions, I doubt they'll abuse them since they seemed mature enough to pass the trial stage.

Moderators can only ban for a few hours, after all banning is done by the Gmods through the reports of mods an members.

A moderator's max ban time is 1 hour.

Definitely not banning, even if it is still a temporary one. None of us are close to having the absolute knowledge of whether this is hacks or not. It is best left to someone who specializes in it, aka Gigga.
Maybe Gmods should be able to lock threads throughout the forums. Moving, not really.

With the mods they have now i would trust them with this because they are mature enought, but if they got demoted and new mods came in they should leave it the way it is

On the old forums all moderators had Admin abilities, locking, moving, banning ect. However a Mod abused his power and destroyed the forums, landing us on these ones.

I think that G-Mods should be able to lock threads in all sections, seeing as they are global Moderators.

Just because you're global moderator doesn't mean you're an expert about all the other servers. That's why we still allow moderators to apply for other servers if they want full permissions in that section.

To many permissions is not always a good thing.

Well... if a moderator see's a hacker, and they have good proof they was deferentially hacking then they will need to report it to a (S-MOD)
