McBrawl Moderator Application:
Previously, I had applied and managed to get into the pending stage and thus the interview. Fortunately, GreenPeas_ (Ex-Admin) on behalf of the other administrators present had informed me I need to take time to have a better understanding of policies and what it means to be a moderator here on Brawl. GreenPeas_ said he expected me to reapply with the same application soon once I know the policies to a sufficient extent. I would like to believe that I now have a better grasp on guidelines.

Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak? -
I consider myself active on the server and especially Team-speak; I find it easier to converse with the community members through speaking than typing. However I personally believe my activity on the forums is OK, but my forum posts count is not of a great quantity, which I am constantly improving upon and will continue to.

Approximately, how many rule breaker reports have you submitted? -
I have reported a small amount of rule-breakers but I have previously been and presently am very quick to hop onto a team-speak channel whereby a Moderator is present to deal with the situation.

How old are you? -
I am 15 years of age (Aug 25, 1999)

What time zone are you in? -
GMT +0, I live in England.

What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? -
I purchased Minecraft straight after I watched a video of someone running in the wild frantically building a home at night fending off the zombies - I was amazed - I wanted a sandbox game and was instantaneously hooked. I purchased Mine-craft on the 28th of February 2012, I played single-player for a small amount of time until I moved onto multiplayer; from thereon I developed my Minecraft building attributes and my love for helping others. Although I have to admit, my building skills are pretty bad.

What is your experience with moderating servers? -
I had played on a server, which unfortunately shut down due to an inactive owner, PulseCraft which was a solid thirty player a day server, I managed to work my ways up the ranks from Moderator to Super Admin. From being staff there, I have a greater understanding of the difficulty being a staff member and the amounts you have to cater to in help boundaries, and the disrespect you are likely to receive. Afterwards I had joined a server which went down before Pulse-craft which was TechCraft which only just returned, in which the Owner and staff team believed I was capable to enter the Staff System and managed to become Co-Owner for a year and a half until I left to set-up on my own. I also manage a very humble and tiny community server of my own which in turn has implications on my capabilities to comprehend the community, moderator status, standards, plug-ins, configuration and commands.

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? -
If I were to receive moderator status I would ensure I crack-down on rule breakers, ultimately perform the role and ensure the community is listened to, I think that I am very interactive with the community through in-game, forums and team-speak, anyways; the ultimate decider for improvements and changes are down to the community and thus I would ensure I listen to suggestions and rate them. I would also ensure I am informative, friendly and precise upon assisting others. Also professionalism, a few TeamSpeak users have mentioned that I do come across as proficient.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? -
I have, I used to use full bright when I could not see in the dark on a lot of servers but do not use hacked clients anymore.

Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why? -
I was banned from a Minecraft server two years ago for X-raying. But I have long learnt from that mistake. I haven’t been banned on a Minecraft server in a long time since.

How active do you consider yourself in-game? -
I would class myself being very active in game not on only MC-War but other servers too, though I particularly enjoy playing on MC-War and occasionally WarZ.

How active do you consider yourself on TS3? -
I am very active on TS3, whenever I am online the server I am always on TeamSpeak, as said before, personally I find it easier to interact with the community by voice than stopping to type then continue playing. I would like to hope I come across as friendly.

How active do you consider yourself on the forums? -
I am somewhat active on the forums, and as mentioned prior to this question, in terms of activity, I am fairly active on the forums but my forum posts do not match a high quantity. However I am keen to ensure my forums activity can achieve a suitable standard amongst my in-game activity. However, whilst my forum posts are low, my activity in other areas are particularly higher.

What do you consider your greatest strength? -
My greatest strength is my ability to be helpful and listen. I have always been eager to help people provided I am able to within that field to the best of my ability.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? -
Occasionally impatience, I can get somewhat impatient although this is decreasing over the years. While I am on Brawl, I usually enjoy playing around and helping, so this has not been present on the servers.

How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time? -
Deemed that the breaking of the law is minor, a warning I believe would be due in this case through private messaging.

How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time? -
I would acknowledge they have disregarded my warning; I would give a consequence for their failure to comprehend the rules system and inform them why they have received a consequence, likely through a kick or mute depending on the circumstances.

How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time? -
They have no willingness to comply with the procedures I would have conducted and at this point and I would perform a severe consequence and inform them as of why.

What is your reaction if someone publicly proves you wrong on the forums? -
Depending under the circumstances I would apologies, plus acknowledge and admit I was wrong yet ultimately learn from that mistake to become a better moderator overall.

What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums? -
I would initially PM them an unofficial warning, otherwise I would deal with the player with an accordingly levelled consequence and warning, whether that be through un-approving the posts, issuing warning points.

When would you lock a thread? -
- Uncivil argument/contains harassment.
- Lock has been requested by the thread creator
- Breaks the forums rules
- Grave dig
- Went off-topic
- Duplicate/synonymous of another thread

Anything else we should know about you? -
I really love this server and believe I have made good connections and status amongst the community.

Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to ensure that this player and situation is properly dealt with? -
I would screenshot the player as evidence beforehand. Then I would kindly request the player re-enter the map and if unable to, log out. Otherwise if the player does not return to the map or log out I would submit the screenshot or deal with the player immediately within my power.

Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work? -
I know how the majority of the plugins and commands function, being a server owner of a small community I have developed this skill overtime; I am also quick to learn commands and plug-ins to thus improve.

Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away? - I completely understand and would do my best to ensure this never happens.
