    So I'm playing on this pc that I got for $200 on sale. I'm looking to buy a new one as the one I have is starting to get very slow and taking up too much memory. I could barely handle a FTB singleplayer and I only have 1 server on it. I would like to know what pc is good to buy with a budget of $250-$350? It doesn't have to be very fancy in anything, just something that I could get Minecraft on and get my Steam games downloaded.

    Getting a dell desktop would be good, there's one for like $450 and it's amazing for minecraft. Laptops aren't really the way you should go for minecraft unless it's like alienware or apple maybe.

    What in practicular are you doing on the computer you have? Only gaming, or additional stuff?
    I can recommend www.bestbuy.com for cheap gaming stuff. There was a fine laptop for $375, it had a decent processor and 8GB RAM.

    Well, I don't think that good a computer for that cheap. The best you will get would likely be one of the $500 gaming computers at best buy, if you are willing to fork up an extra 150 dollars. It would likely be worth it though, as they all have great processors and most have dedicated graphics cards, something that will help boost your framerate by so much

    I guess I could fork over another good +200 in the future. Just a little more saving needed. This computer can me off, its okay. All I do is mostly gaming but sometimes I need to do a little homework or research on something.
