    Just now, raygun has been nerfed. (i think)

    The splash damage seems MUCH smaller. This is WAY too much because i am used to aiming on walls for kills

    Now I can't kill ANYTHING (not realy) with ray. It's much harder and the nerf has been nerfed too far.
    I think .5* that of now would be gewd

    Or maybe you could actually aim for the zombie, instead of shooting 5 blocks away and expecting to get a kill. :L

    Even minecrafteds he was with me on inf on a map. There was a zombie rushing us we could've shot at da floor.

    But he's just like NOPE! RAYGUN IS CRAP NOW

    The only thing that I can see that changed it that the splash damage no longer exists. A normal raygun doesn't have splash damage either.
    Go with it. More than likely, it is going to stay this way. Many players in infect complain that the raygun is way too OP, and I agree.

    It works fine for me, with a slightly decreased radius of damage. You should aim directly for your target.

    I was just playing with it and I don't see anything wrong with the splash damage but it has been decreased.
    As rainy said, a RayGun isn't supposed to have splash damage.
    Try aiming better, like right at the enemy or a block away (what I do). But I do think that the RayGun shouldn't have splash damage at all.

    Ray-gun is way too op with the large AoE (Area of Effect). Having the same AoE as a LAW made LAW inferior in nearly all aspects. I'm glad they nerfed Ray-gun as LAW now has another advantage. Besides, the instant projectile speed still gives the Ray-gun a large advantage.

    If you think nerfing the splash radius was too much, then relearn your definition of skill. :V

    WELLL. In the magical world of CoD the raygun does have splash damage and a good a bit of it, just the spash does not oneshot :stuck_out_tongue:

    Ray gun isnt sucky. Its just not SUPERDUPER FREACKING FRIKKEN OOOOOVEEERRPOOOIWEEEEREEED anymore which I LOVE.

    How about using it properely ray deserves a quick scope to.

    Or ray could just damage you or perhaps kill you when shot to close as an idea and keep splash radius. As an idea of course

    The ray was never meant to be as OP as it was, I think this nerf is exactly what it needs to balance it out. Although, we will have to get players used to it.

    When I was playing gungame, I got to the raygun. I expected it to be the most OP gun I have ever held in minecraft... unfortunately it felt as if it was worst than a pistol. I would like it if when you shoot it takes 2-3 seconds to reach the destination and have a large explode radius. That would be more convenient.

    I'm no CoD expert, but the Ray-gun only appears on BO2 Origins. Since Origins features npc's as enemies, there's no actual players you're fighting against, consequently making the game balanced as there's no unfair advantages between the player and software generated npc's. CoD is different from Mc-War.

    Mc-War relies on balance to make the game fun and fair, because this server only revolves around online multiplayer, not npc's that won't complain about OPness. This is why the Ray-gun shouldn't have a 100% effective explosion radius.

    CoD ties closer to realism in warfare and gun mechanics, so balance isn't an issue. Plus, the op guns like Ray-gun and Wunderwaffe DG-2 actually make BO2 Origins more balanced as those weapons help you to survive against thousands of zombies more easily.

    Get used to it and learn to use non donor guns to earn kills in infect. I am personally glad the ray gun's aoe is nerfed.
