/vote? NO!!!!!

Just remove /vote for pvp, I've heard no complaints from WarZ members, party members, and not many War members :/

 

I agree completely, I think they should make everything much much more expensive, so you need to put in quite a lot of work to get decent gear.

haha, i really don't mind the sponges honestly, im concerned about the diamonds, gold, sharp books exc. hope the /vote either goes away, or the reward items prices go up, or the reward items are not so "rich".

 

Yeah same here they should only make level 1, 2, or maybe 3 enchantments available.

 

I think this could go both ways honestly. I see the benefit of the voting system, because it really does help out newer players. And come on, lets be honest here, it really is kind of difficult to get started on PvP nowadays because whenever someone shows up in diamond, everyone is attracted to it like a magnet is to iron.
So yes, I like the voting system for the fact that it can help the newer players, but from a different point of view, I also have some opposing thoughts on it.

I also oppose the voting system because a lot of us members have taken a whole lot of time farming and mining to get what we have today. And believe me, it took quite a lot of work to get to the point I am today, and to see that now people can vote and get things so easily is a bit hard to accept.

So I believe this is both a good thing, and something I don't love.

Additionally, can we keep the comments clean please. Just don't get too out of hand, I would hate to have to lock this thread for flaming.

 

hmmm, yes, i would be alright with that, frankly im concerned about Sharp V, Fortune III, You know? im fine with power I, Something simple that won't offend people. But yes 1-3 enchantment books would be nice, with other items too. After all, if the /vote command is going to be active, might as well embrace it with items people still want to vote for.

 

I do not like voting, but it is a very nice system.

It gets people prizes while they vote to increase the server.
The only problem is that the prizes are too overpowered, make them other things that are hard to get and less overpowered.

 

I killed a noob with a fresh aharpIV sword earlier... This is getting rediculous! He obviously voted for it!

 

I personally like voting. It is a nice way to earn rewards. The rewards I do have a problem with though. You can get 300 gold a week... It takes about a month to get that in the shop. The rewards are op...

 

"The rewards are op..." You said it yourself. Survival PvP is meant to be a hardcore server, a unique server. It's taking those aspects out of it in my opinion!

 

Exactly, I'm fine with the voting system Please don't get me wrong here, but i do have 2nd thoughts weather the reward items in the /vote command are too overpowered, or sum what fair to the people thats just starting off on survival pvp. I would rather have the prices go up (make people work for what there getting) or have items not so powering.

 

Yes, I have a problem with the prize part when it comes to enchants by what most people are saying. But I believe the main flaw is promoting a PvP server containing an average of about 30-90 people to grow even faster. The strong community that stands on PvP has been doing a decent job about filtering out unworthy players (hackers and foul players). With the vote system increasing the input of players at a faster rate, it'll be harder to maintain a healthy/fair environment.

 

From what I hear just raise the prices, and/or remove voting completely you guys' choice.
