    If you're referring to me (I know you are), I tend to leave my mic unattended unmuted and go AFK.

    Now, you may say "How do I know you're AFK if you're not on away status?" Well, I'm going to show you a quick way to check if someone's AFK on TS even if they're not on away.

    If you're using a mouse, you'll notice you can push the mouse wheel down (on most models). If you do that while hovering over someone's name, a little pop up will appear with information about that person (connection time, idle time, packet loss, etc). If you look at the 'idle time,' it shows you how long it's been since they've spoken. If it's been 10 minutes or so, that probably means they're AFK. Hope this helps you and other reading in the future.

    I was mostly talking about Putty. Plus, 8vo ignored it today also. I realised you tend to go afk often.

    I tried doing that but it didn't work for me...

    Usually when I'm busy the ding message skips right by me or gets confused with the channel message ding. Also, if I'm busy with a task I have to break out of that to answer a PM that requires more attention, say logging into the servers or forums, it really slows down what I am doing since it breaks my focus.

    If you really need to get in contact with an Admin there are better ways to do so. If you're wanting help via Teamspeak, I recommend staying on for a bit longer after you ask your question because I eventually will read and respond to any messages if the sender is still online.

    I don't recall you sending me a message today. Also, I usually reply to others right away, unless you ask "Hey bvo, can I ask you a question?" and then not ask it...

    I'd also try getting in contact with other moderators first before bringing the issue to our attention. If a mod doesn't know the answer, they'll have quicker means of contacting us in resolving your issue.

    I couldn't stay on any longer after 2:30am. And I needed a favour, so I didn't just message you with "putty".
    I said it like that to see if you were afk. You see, "can I ask for a favour" is already a question which you can reply with either yes or no. Thanks for the response though.

    I would of asked a mod but a mod wouldn't of been able to help. I'll explain what my problem was before theres and misunderstandings. And I did message you yesterday but after 1 or 2 minutes I sent it, you left. I don't know whether you lost connection but you came back.

    Basically, I was going to ask if you could kick someone from the ts server because they had changed their name to my ign. He went around flirting and messaging everyone, Signatured was not on at the time so thats why I asked you bvo. Myort was busy and I guess putty was sorta afk and Gigga wasn't on.

    Now you know. It wasn't something a mod could resolve because they can't kick people from the ts server and can only kick out of rooms.

    Ahh I guess when I dc'd and came back, the message went away :l I'm assuming that this isn't a problem anymore, though i'll try to notice it next time before random dc's :wink:
