    So I was wondering if anyone can suggest a free, no-lag screen recorder. I've had people tell me that Bandicam is laggy, and I don't wanna download crap, and CamStudio asks to install/add-on stuff to your browser and such.

    What would you recommend?

    Dxtory, Fraps, Bandicam
    I use Dxtory.
    Fraps is very popular.
    Bandicam has very small amounts of lag.

    all of the above you listed are either torrented or have a bad time limit. you are never going to find a recording system with 'no-lag'. no matter what you will need to download stuff so don't make that a no no

    I haven't experienced any FPS lags with bandicam so far.

    You must have a strong computer.
    When I had bandicam on my old computer I could drop from 89 fps (being in the sky) to approximately 6 fps...
    I use fraps but it takes up sooo much space for recording.

    I use Bandicam. DO NOT use free version of Fraps. Max 30 sec video.

    EZVID, jk I use fraps.

    There are tons of cracked full versions of fraps, just loot it up on youtube.

    I use fraps, its really good.
    You have to get a cracked version that all already logged in though :stuck_out_tongue:

    For mac, Screenflow 4 (It's easy enough to find a free version without a watermark), For windows. Fraps.

    I would recommend Action!. You can find a tutorial on how to crack it on YouTube. From my experience, it has little to no lag.

    Action! is probably the best screen recorder I've used.

    No lag when recording, a lot of customizable settings, and more.

    Bandicam produces SOOOOOO much lag for me, it's not even possible to move. I suggest action, very easy and simple to use.

    Open Broadcaster Studio
    It has actually now lag and remders the video while recording and is free

    Action! is lag free, trust me I play with 15-20 fps and when I'm recording I stay at 15-20 fps, there's a lot of videos explaining how to crack it.
