Some people might be skeptical about this, and may think that I'm just short cutting my chances of mod, but I just want to post a shorter, improved, and added version of the thread "What were looking for" as a moderator. I've been looking at key, shared traits between mods that will increase your chances. This might lower my chances of when I apply in the future, if some people think that there's no strategy of becoming mod but whatever. <3

Spend extra time on making friends on TS3: Although it already said to be active on teamspeak, try to make your name more vivid to others and show that you're a good person. This will be extremely useful for the poll, as if people see that you make a staff application they will definitely give you a thumbs up. Try to talk to other mods when you have the chance, they will be doing the pluses and minuses so having some moderator friends may sound hard but it will definitely be the most useful.

Try to build up your reputation on the forums, don't do pointless replies or threads. Try to make some things that will get lots of likes and thumbs ups.

Don't post a staff application if you haven't been playing for over 8 months. If you don't obey this rule, you will most likely be denied, unless your already well known, and have a good reputation.

Make a good YouTube channel. Almost every single mod has a youtube channel, and they have subscribers. YouTube is one of the best ways of getting your name out. It shows who your teamed with, how you play, how mature you are. In my opinion this is the best way of showing yourself, because typing "I am mature" doesn't have a lot of proof in it.

Don't post an application, unless you have some decent amount of known skill. This can be showed on YouTube but having low skill shows ignorance on learning new tactics of warz and lack of training/discipline. Although it might sound stupid, if you've been playing for over a year and you still don't combo decently, it shows lack of adapting to new things.

    Hahah, thats another option

If you read the whole thing, or just the first paragraph, I say "I just want to post a shorter, improved, and added version of the thread "What were looking for""

For starters, there's a huge an in-depth thread in the staff app section that says all of this
Secondly, it seems ironic for someone who used to godmode and has been banned twice for other hacks to have anything to say about becoming mod.

The whole 8 month thing is a no no (*cough @Tuggers03 coughcough*)
The whole YT thing is also a no no. From my experience YT does almost nothing, and by no means is it mandatory. I know plenty of great mods without YT. Look at Rainy and Pik, both were stellar mods.

I agree there are plenty great mods, but most of them have YT, and its the best way to show yourself, so they can see if you are mature, immature, and whatnot. Also it supports great intimidation if you have lots of montages, because if people watch it and they see you they will be like hes really good.

8 months? Pfft. Just under 3 months for me. :stuck_out_tongue:

Decent thread though. I don't see how YT helps your chances much, and there is another thread stickied in the Apps sections which says this in a lot more detail. Some points here are truthful though.

Just because you have a YouTube doesn't mean you're a better candidate, most of the good mods didn't have a YouTube channel they actively used

Well people like papa roach and lucky pop had very popular youtube channels, they weren't that active on the forums but they got on, if papa/lucky didn't have youtube channels they would most likely be denied, and I'm saying again it will increase your chance

I don't agree with that YT point, skill point and 8 months point. I did like many of the other points tough.

Guys, he just wanted to make a shortened down version of that looooooooog thread sig made. As for many of you that said he was never mod, there are a lot of guides telling how to get skilled on war, WarZ and fpsHG. The writers of those guides are not neccicerily skilled either. That does not mean that you go and bash those guides aswell. Yes some of his points were inncorrect, but many of them were good. They got to the point without being ultra looooooong.
