    I understand you guys need money but this is absolutely ridiculous. The forums are nothing but a sluggish inconvenient place to chat with other members now. Its honestly annoying when every time i try to click on someones profile or make a post/comment i either get some virus-spreading ad telling me i need to update java or a pop-up window asking me to fill out a survey.

    Again, im not against the idea of you guys putting ads on the forums for a little more moolah every now and then, but if you are going to make changes, please remove the amount of ads on the forums.

    The adds are a way of making money. With the EULA in place we have to look for new ways to support the servers and having ads on the forums is one.

    I cringed when I saw this thread..
    The only ad on my screen is a small one below everything on the forums...
    nothing popping up when you click people's profiles and stuff

    As others said, we have two non-intrusive advertisements.
    One below thread content and one below the content on profile pages.

    You should consider scanning your computer for actual viruses.
