MrApekatt, I am tired, simply tired of loggers.
@Darkchaosknight, I don't understand what you're trying to say, is it targetted at me or at MrApekatt or someone else?

YOU Jingca! Getting banned for logging is stupid as once you log and die, you have to work for all that work again...

Dear, Dark, I never said anything about being banned for one hour... You misunderstood
Next time make it clear what you want to say :V
@MrApekatt, why would implementing this idea of having to /logout (standing still for 15-20 secs to logout or it turns you into a ''logger'') ruin this server? Sounds to me like you just want people to keep logging in and out 24/7, I do not understand your point of view, sorry.

We allready have a decent logger system, maybe we can make the waiting length longer before you can log out after combat, but not adding a /logout and you have to wait 20 seconds! People will quit because they do not have any freedom no more. Dont tell me you want to wait 20 seconds to log off when scouting through the servers for a teammate to play with or check you status/spawnpoint.

You're right, maybe instead of 20 seconds, maybe make it 5-10 seconds. Also, we should make the waiting length longer before you can log out after combat, as you stated. Does this seem more reasonable?

Not also make the waiting length longer, only make the waiting length longer. I dont like the idea of /logout function at all!

Making it longer won't prevent loggers in this game, we need something that makes it so that people don't just log in snow/nether then log off one second after they see an enemy and piss the people at nether/snow off and make this game boring as hell.

I had planned not to use my 100th message on such a thing, but i cant resist! I dont see why you want such a system! Everyone will suffer under it! People like me who just scroll through all the servers to check the situation on each and everyone. Lets say i log on every of the 10 servers. If the logout length is at 15 seconds for example, i use freakin 2 and a half minute just logging off the servers again and if a zombie hits me i need to do /logout again! That sucks to say it in a fair way. It literarly sucks! And I am pretty sure most of the guys here on the server agrees to me at this!

    It just wont work!

MrApekatt, what you're saying is absolutely BS in my point of view. If you have a better idea to prevent people to logout on sight of an enemy, please don't hesitate to state it because I'm pretty sure my idea was one of the ONLY ways to prevent this problem. Even if people were to not like this idea at first, they will get used to it like the reload update on Mc-war and many others. I'm also wondering if you're one of those loggers that piss people off...

How about, instead of when you log you generate an NPC etc, change it to if you are engaged in combat, e.g you have been hit/shot, and you then log, all the items in your inventory, drop to the ground, just like you have been killed, so the player who would have killed them can still get the loot. And then when that player next logs back in, the one who logged, it is exactly like they have been killed regularly, they spawn with the starting inventory at a noob area.

So basically, if someone is marked in combat, and they log, change the plugin to make it so just before their player is logged off, they are automatically killed, their stuff drops on the ground, so the player can collect the loot so on so on. This seems to be the fairest and simplest way the logger system could be done.

I totally agree with you GreenPeas_ on that point, but what we are dealing with ain't the fact that people log when they have been engaged in battle. Instead, we are dealing with people who just log in, look around for enemies, then when the enemies try to rush him, he/she logs out, pissing the rushers off

Well I guess you would need something like when another player, who isn't /friend, is within a (EXAMPLE) 10 block radius of you, you cannot log out. I'm not sure if they would be capable of coding that though

@GreenPeas_ that could work out fine, as long as people stop logging on sight of enemies

Accidentally logging out and dying would be a hassle to players who don't know how to use /ct.

I find this would be a very good idea. On the off note I would get my friends to log all the time :stuck_out_tongue:

There has been much discussion about loggers and even a "/logout" command. At the moment it will not be fixed but will be later on. Most likely next update.
