    This has happened to me a lot, but I never know how to fix it. For the last 2 days, whenever I try to watch a youtube video, this happens:

    The black screen just stays there with nothing happening.
    Anybody know how to fix this? I've tried refreshing.

    Different Browser? Like Google Chrome and all that?
    I'm only able to use Safari.

    Stop listening to so much dub step.

    All I can think of is perhaps trying to watch videos in 720p or 1080p can be a little wonky in browsers other than Chrome due to the new 60fps option, but videos that have no other point than just to play music don't even need that kind of quality.

    60 fps was nice and all, but the internet of a lot of people cannot handle it. It screws over most other browsers as well, favoring Chrome.
    Make sure you have a flash player working. Reinstall it if need be.
    You can also clear your cookies/cache or if possible, allow more memory to be used by Safari. I'm not a Mac expert, this is something I use for Windows. It may not be possible, just try it if it is possible.

    Chrome is available for osx and ios aswell.
