Mc-War Starting to be Unenjoyable

If you have a problem with stats blocking chat just type /spawn immediately after the end of a round
The second one is just something you have to deal with, I guess

 

Noob is a bigger deal then you think. There's been numerous thread complaints demanding the admins to do something about this word. They decided to block it in hopes that less players would say it, or attempt to bypass chat filter. Pornhub isn't censored because it isn't used nearly as much compared to noob.

 

Mcbrawl isn't the perfect community, but we try our best as a community to make it one. A lot of what you said are problems you could ignore or fix with a command like /spawn like Cbsusd said. I would recommend ignoring the things you don't like and focus on the things that you enjoy.

 

Earlier, the chat was constantly spammed with "iso noob" "skully noob" "model noob" "ray noob" "c4 noob" etc.
I like that the chat filter is blocking noob now. There's a bit more respect now. Just a bit, but a bit is better than nothing.
People were getting pissed; that was how the chat looked. You couldn't play for more than a minute without someone calling someone else a noob. It was used so much that it became a derogatory term.
And as said above, the chat is a bit more clean now.

MC-War is a whole lot more unenjoyable than this, I'm surprised you only focused on the chat filter being "bad" (it isn't) and the game end chat spam.

 

The language filter is always something I found a little odd, quite honestly. I'm not trying to start ****, because after all, not my community, they can do whatever they want with their servers. But I just find it odd that instead of telling people to quit being whiney 10 year olds who can't handle scrutiny via words on a screen, they cave in and begin to block words simply because people bother them enough. I'm sorry, but if you can't handle being called a noob, you're probably too young to be on the internet. Oh well though, atleast I can tell everyone about my favorite Pornhub vids.

Very good point, but honestly, look at the chat now "2 ez" "ez" "****in ez" "skid" Hmmmm, maybe it's not the words, but rather the maturity of the Minecraft community as a whole? Not sure, but the latter seems more reasonable to me. Blocking noob just makes noobs think of slightly more constructive words. (With all due respect)

 

tbh I actually have seen very little WarZ talk on War.
Minecraft's community has been lacking maturity lately, but the way MC-War was made just encourages people to call out "noob" and other terms so much that something needs to be done about it.
A lot of the ragers on MC-War are probably people who aren't too bad IRL. However, the way MC-War is set up is that you play and you get better weapons. Works at first, but then everyone gets OP weapons. Then people complain, and people rage.
In Battlefield and Call of Duty, weapons are balanced for the most part. Although we have the occasional (slightly) unbalanced weapon (M16A3 from BF3 was OP, M16A4 from MW3 was UP), there's little rage from one weapon because of course, you can counter it with a lot of other weapons. Guy killing you with M16A3 in BF3? You can use one of the many assault rifles, assault carbines, LMGs, PDWs, sniper rifles, DMRs, or even sidearms and equipment.
In MW2, you can also counter an ACR user (ACR is considered OP) with just the G36C, which is considered a weaker weapon. (and yes, other weapons can counter it too)
However, doesn't work that way in MC-War.

You have like, 3 choices.
Isolator, Skullcrusher, Minigun.
And what do most people find best? Isolator. It's the only weapon that one shots anywhere on the body.
Because of the fact that only one weapon can do this, people will call out users of it because they can't handle getting killed that way.
Similar logic with the Skullcrusher and minigun.

No disrespect or anything, but you made a thread with the title "war isn't enjoyable", then you write an idea that will make war even less enjoyable.

War is a pretty crappy community with lots and lots of immature, arrogant, ragers. The only thing we can do is adding qonsequences to calling someone a noob, hacker etc, even without the mods being online. The admins are looking in to this. As for now, you can just try to talk to the friendly memebers in our community, tell someone that is raging or being disrespectful to stop, and /block (name) if they are being to arrogant and annoying.

 

This isn't the problem, the probably is that everybody has OP guns now after playing a lot.
War is boring when you can never do good.
No matter what you say, you always want to dominate others and be feared.
Now War is just join a server, get killed, have your KDR drop, rage, and start it over.

 

I haven't read much of the other posts so I don't know if this has already been said. This also is going to be pretty harsh (heat sheilds up!)

If you have a problem with the mc-war community so bad that you need to make an entire thread to complain about things that we already know are problems what we've learned to deal with then you probably don't have thick enough skin to handle this community. Play some minecraft party to cool off or something.
Before the hate wave comes in I would like to point out (if any of you remember) I myself took an entire month away from mc-war, then I came back and loved it again. So I would suggest playing another game for a while and coming back, maybe you'll find the good though the bad again.

You're acting like the admins saw that the words pornhub and noob were being spammed but they only decided to censor noob. Noob has been going around for a very long time now and majority of the community sees it right to be blocked. The word pornhub has only started being spammed recently, the admins are trying to do something.

You're first issue, can be resolved easily. Just once you've sent the message, don't send it again. Simple.

@Xenotaph the majority of this community is immature, so do you think if you tell an 8 year old to stop, you think they will stop?
The mods did say stop noobcalling but did they listen? Nooo. So the admins just blocked the word. The admins aren't Obama, if they tell everyone to stop not all do.
