    So my irl friends and I seem to be the only people who say "burret" rather than "barret", does anyone pronounce this the way I do? Or am I just the wacko here. Vote plox

    The Barrett 50. Caliber shouldn't really be called a Burrett unless your English and that's simply how you say it.

    For me and my wacky language habits it can be a barret, a burrretttt, and even a burrito.

    It all depends on what mood I'm in :stuck_out_tongue:
    But yeah, the correct pronunciation is a barret with a soft a.

    I just got on here to say, Barret****

    Also, I pronounce Barret .50 cal as you would think. Bear-ett Fif-ty cal.
    Buuuutt, I usually just say .50 cal, barret, or 50 caliber

    The name was fixed a few months back because orange451 misspelled it so long ago

    xD well I don't own a Barrett .50 cal in real life so I wasn't sure. I seem to remember me arguing with my brother however when he said that it wasn't spelled right about a year ago :stuck_out_tongue:

    EXACTLY, he mispelled it "berret" didn't he? I knew I had a reason for saying it that way...unfortunatley it's kinda stuck. @chickenputty I want compensation
