My idea is that our staff should be more strict on bans, unbans and kicks. I just feel like it's often not enough whenever someone continually insults you for an hour while you are playing. I had this situation, reported those two children and staff didn't seem to give a damn. During that time they used inappropriate language and constantly flamed. Bear in mind this happened when I still played.
I feel like people should be banned for insults. I think everyone has the right of not being insulted, and given a personal freedom to enjoy the game, rather than to suffer from our community.

    TL;DR
Staff is more serious and strict on bans, extended ban and punishment times.

Banning for insults or being more strict is pretty dumb. If they are harassing you in a message /block them. If they are harassing in chat then they will probably get kicked. Also don't care about internet insults at all.

I am on the same page as you. The problem is: everyone wants the community to improve right? How are we going to make that happen? Complain about how the community is crap? No. We have to enforce an actual punishment for breaking not only big rules like hacking, but also smaller rules like calling people disrespectful names. Now, there has been a lot of threads suggesting higher punishment. But all of these threads get shot down by many people. Many of the same people that complain about crap community. The community is only going to change if we enforce stronger punishments. Punishments that the community says are too strict.

If someone calls 20 people a hacker in less than an hour (you'd be suprised how many people do this), a 7 day temp ban for excessive flaming isn't stupid at all. They will only get kicked if a mod is on. That is only the case 10-20 % of the time. You might handle internet insults because you are old and mature enough. Most brawl players are not mature enough to handle insults because they are young.

I do think that they should be more stricked on bans. My idea is $10 to get out of first ban, $20 for second ban, and if you get banned again you stay banned. This way people who play MineCraft for a living won't just be able to buy there way out of bans.
