    So since call of duty has attachments i think the guns here need to. SO here's how it works
    Below the primary weapon it will show "primary attachments" and "secondary attachments" on the secondary ones.
    So basically it automatically attaches themselves. You can choose up to three attachments for each gun max.
    For example:
    Dual wield:
    type: secondary attachment
    shoots 2 bullets at a time instead of 1. and has the same ammo, it uses up 1 ammo at a time even though it says it used 1. You can't scope with the pistol.
    Grenade Launcher: Primary, only for assault rifles. Shift Right click to shoot the grenade. It shoots a normal grenade. 3 per life.
    FMJ
    type: any attachment
    Allows you to shoot through max 1 wall.
    0.5sec extra cool down
    Thermal Sight:
    type: Primary attachment
    Allows to detect any hiding enemy, disables finding non-crouching enemy name tags.
    Explosive Shot:
    Type: Snipers Only
    does the same damage as a sniper with a 1 block radius.


    Non donor-
    Holographic sight: Increases Hip accuracy
    type: primary attachment

    I have suggested a more detailed attachment system before.

    What is it with you and bragging about the fact that you've posted these before?
    Most of your threads are way too old to bump up anyways :/

    Attachments would:
    • Need a pro and con to them (foregrip decreases recoil, but also increases spread while ADS, etc.). Battlefield-styled attachments would work very well for this, since they're pretty similar to CoD perks but also have a con to them.
    • Modify the weapon directly. Sights cannot be used because sights are impossible to do ATM.
    • Be balanced. Honestly, something like that one rapid fire perk in MW is a little broken, and would be very broken if applied to war.

    My thread states that the attachments I suggested do indeed affect the weapon negatively as well.

    The sights and about 1/2 of those attachments you posted do stuff that they didn't do in Call of Duty.
    Just sayin'

    I said 1/2 of them were correct, other 1/2 was incorrect.

    I agree with adding attachments, as each player could make his gun unique and different from others and allow players to play with different strategies.

    I'm pretty sure FMJ would be impossible. Grenade launcher maybe 1 or 2 per life? Dual wield I like, maybe a bit op with python. Holographic sight I like too but, not so much the explosive shot as that would be too op with dissasembler as you could spam it and it would be like a cbow with more ammo. :wink:

    Some of these are impossible but would be cool. To be able to shoot through walls will make people call out "hacks" more often. We don't really need to give them something to complain about. Also, to shift+right click to change to grenade launcher would eliminate shifting in one spot and firing as you would constantly be switching back and fourth.
