Complete Sewer (Extremely Detailed, Good sized map, good for any weapon)

    This is a map that my colleagues and I made in two days. It is a smaller, totally underground, map with plenty of detail, hiding spots, and traps. It is a good map for powerful shotguns, fast automatics, and extreme snipers, depending on where you are.

    This map is meant for TDM, CTF, and Infect, as it is too small for Gungame, FFA, and OIC.

    This map is rather different from most maps. I can't determine how its layout looks even from the images.
    Is it basically a square-like structure?

    I built it on the Creative server so maybe I can show you around first hand? Sort of, but it has multiple levels.

    I'd recommend keeping the main levels limited (3 at very most, 1 or 2 plus some balconies or whatnot). Otherwise you'll get a toystory style map. Also, replacing the ladders with stairs (or using stairs as an addition) is something to be considered.

    While the building itself looks quite fine, I'm not particularly sure how this would play out in game. It seems like all you need is one crossbow user to clog up the halls and cause mass carnage. Maybe even a minigun user.

    There are three levels, the ground floor, the 2nd floor which has stairs leading up to it from the first floor (close to each spawn), and there are also stairs leading up to the 3rd floor via the 2nd floor. So you have an option of either stairs or ladders. Like I said, if you want, I can show you around on Creative.

    There are 5 passages to get out of the spawn, the two large side corridors, 2 sets of stairs, and the hall leading to the main room. That would take a lot of noobs. And if the red/blue team doesn't defend well enough, then they deserve being "Cbowed" or "Minigunned". This is a very good map for those guns, so people have to watch out and work as a team in order not to be punished with an EMP (which would be devastative) or a Nuke (which would be even more devastative for CTF, Infect, and TDM. If you are in infect and a Zombie launches a EMP, then you are in some serious doo-doo. It's also suicide proof. No breakable blocks, unless wool is breakable (which I can fix).

    I think people should be able to go on creative and see the map firsthand. Maybe we should give the coordinates to it?

    I agree, what if there were levels of the map? Most of it is based in the sewers but what if you spawn on the street an you have to get to the sewers by crawling down a trapdoor? This is a cool map design and there are many ways you could go with this. :wink:

    I noticed you have a minimap that displays player entities. You should uninstall that mod since it's on the list of disallowed mods. Plus, that isn't Rei's Minimap you're using.

    I only used it for this project so I could find my friends. But that's totally besides the point. What are your map critiques? Tips?

    I don't have critique since the others pretty much stated everything, but you're still not supposed to use that type of mod no matter what, unless it's fine with the admins.

    Yes it is. Two large corridors on the side, one hall leading to the main room in between, and 2 sets of stairs in-between the both side corridors and the main hall. Then there is the main room with 3 levels, accessible by ladders and stairs. For an interesting touch, both flags (for CTF) are on the 3rd level. There is a little parkour to get to the other opponents side of the 3rd level. There are 6 camping spots for infect, plenty of cover, but not to much. Both sides are almost perfectly symmetrical.

    This honestly looks a bit "bland". What I mean by that is, there doesn't seem to be anything special about the pictures you provided us. All I see is a big room and different sewer tunnels. This doesn't seem like a good map fitted for war, because as game said, all you need is an OP weapon to spray down the halls. I mean, these tunnels almost look identical to each other, and the map doesn't look very big overall. I'm giving this a -1 because I honestly think you could add more to this.

    Plus, just giving you a heads up, custom war maps are never accepted unless it has the playing sensation as a cod map. Meaning it looks like one, and when you play it it'll seem like you're playing it. I'm not very good at putting this into words, :v Just ask @Scoat2 for this matter.
