    Question: Ever since I joined mc war in august, I have been hearing about mc war. Now, I am level 80 something through the use of MVP! I am looking forward to a game changing update, but I am starting to have my doubts. Are the staff just using war 2.0 to keep us playing, expecting a new update that never is coming? I would just like a little info because I, and a lot of other people, are having some doubts.

    At first the original coder of Mc-War, @orange451, mentioned the new 'War 2.0' to the public and got everyone hyped for it. Soon a test server was released, and more people were hyped. After a few months, orange451 left and @killer_99 took over. Killer decided he was going to redo the entire plugin from scratch. After working on it for a while, Killer left as well. Our current Head Coder, @Myortvye, has taken up the project himself. He's working on War along with many other big projects for you guys, and intends to get them out as soon as possible.

    I have heard and understand this, but honestly, why not give a release date to us, as the players. As of right now, we are waiting for war 2.0 to come out at any time, but from what you are saying it looks like this might be a long way out. Also, why not just get a coder for mc war. That way, they wouldn't be working with other projects, nd it might be completed faster.

    Giving a release date right now is fully beyond our scope. Any date that we do give will not be near correct. If you don't want to wait, then don't. When the server is more near completion we will have status posts and a more accurate release date, but until then we will not.

    Hiring a coder isn't just that easy. We don't want a brand new, foreign coder working with the current progress of MC-War when they could be incompetent.

    Ok but here is a suggestion for the future. Hire about 3 coders if you are going to be working on a big project, cause if one of them bails, then you can have two more to back up all of the progress, and all you have to do is hire a new coder to take the place of the one who left. Just a thought
