That one moment RNG loves me

I've had amazing chests before, with my best having both a diamond chestplate AND a Barrett inside.
This is the first time I have had THIS happen. Compass stops turning and I am only full iron in nether, I run in the little cave with 8 chests and pray. First chest has a Barrett in it. First chest has a BARRETT in it!! After nearly dying from missing my first shot and taking his volley, i managed to heal up and line up one more shot. . .MC-War, planetside 2, and 8 freakin years of battlefront 2. . .At last. . .I broke my curse (sorta). . .Now, even though people always flock to me the second I get D or a Barrett, I could actually do something productive with the gear I found. Longtime vets or people regularly in teams probably will be meh, but I was so filled with joy I simply had to make this post. ;-;

Not surprise that I killed him, though admittedly combos are not yet under my repertoire, but more so that the Barrett had a near perfect spawn right when I needed one. . .That and it seemed that he had a few teamates on who were not up with him at the moment, so I additionally seemed to have an ideal situation compared to otherwise. I had the benefit of a Barrett and a 1 v 1. he did have D boots which I now enjoy, but seeing how I did not have much food or ammo and little time to sort inventory as people I believe he was teamed with were starting to rush so I opted to log and manage inventory later.
In other words, the sheer luck and coincidence that led to the event is what surprised me. I am confident in my aim as I said above, but because I am still new to combos, I do not fight well in warz without individual weapons being strong. So for now, Barretts are crucial to me as it gives me a great degree of strength to make up for where I lack in combos. That said I have managed to combo m16 and deagle to kill a full iron on the same day so I'm making slow progress :V maybe some day I will actually get good at combos too XD

Also, the reason I was surprised is that every time D or Barretts pop in chests, I have the uncanny ability in terms of bad luck to always face a team logging on or arriving at the town. Every time. Every time ;-;
