rare or no?

They can't spawn in the spawn, so the player must've led it in.

I don't see the harm in mobs coming into spawn, and it isn't rare for that to happen.

 

Oh at first I thought you were talking about the guy.. Like if he was some famous person or something.
But I have seen mobs in spawn before, whether they were led in or spawned in somehow.

One time me and @HaloGearsKiller or @LegalSkateboards (I don't remember which) found zombies and skeletons trapped under the spawn stairs. We eventually killed them by breaking the blocks and quickly attacking them though.
