Idea Plz stop the ./vote command

I have to disagree with you on this one, bud.

Voting benefits everybody, not 1 person is excluded from the privilege. Not only does voting benefit you, but it benefits McBrawl by making the server more known on the voting websites. I'll admit, the vanilla aspect of minecraft was ruined by voting quite a bit, but that doesn't really bother me that much; you could probably live with it as well.

What I'm trying to say here is that voting is quite a useful command for both the community and the servers and should not be removed due to the benefits of it.

 

I doubt the Admins will remove a command that helps the server gain popularity.

 

/vote gives an incentive for players to vote for the servers for popularity.
It won't be removed, although I do agree that it takes away the vanilla aspect from the server.

If you don't want to vote, then you don't have to. I know it might feel weird because your used to selling or mining for your gold, but not everything can stay the same all the time. Even if you don't want to vote for gold, then you could just vote to help the server instead of trying to help yourself.

 

The main issue is that all the free gold entering the economy will cause massive inflation.

 

Pretty weird a real world issue also affects a video game. :V

That is not the case, I sell items for the same price as before voting.

 

Mostly because people just collect the gold and never use it :v

 

I actually raised price of some items though.
ex) Grilled Pork for 0.1g ea →0.125g ea

I'm simply sad cause my dream no longer come true.
It was making everyone broke and owning almost all gold on this server.

What do you like on this server?

OP /rewards is so harmful for us to rule.

Remember what "Survival" means.
You can get gold, diamonds, enchanted books and so on... without working.
Is this fun?

Yes, also I'm using /rewards for my profit.
However I willing to give up it anytime.
I really hope it will be removed.
Ironically, the more McBrawl is popular on server list, the less PvP Survival is popular for players.

 

at the rate Survival Pvp is goin my as well call it a faction server. add claiming and call teams "factions" and there you go! There is really nothing "vanilla" about this server as i can see. Vanilla is my fav flavor too and yah just turned it to Chocolate!! With...sprinkles.....Mmmm Icecream @.@.........*falls asleep* mmmmm Vanilla... zzzzz

Now, I don't play survivaPVP. I never have, and never will. However, judging by my past experience, this sounds like a case of the /vote command being unbalanced. It sounds like voting is a more efficent way to get in-game currency than actually playing the game. If that is the case, we have a serious problem. The /vote command is suppoed to make McBrawl popular. Not ruin the game. Removing it isn't an option. We can however, balance it out if there is a need for us to do so. I will therefore ask this question to people with a bit of knowledge about this topic: In your opinion, is the voting for in-game currency more efficent and rewarding than actually playing the game to get in-game currency?

 

Personally, I hate voting, but I think there could be some changes to make it better. Instead of awarding the kids who vote with the same loot some of us worked months to gain, award them with shop credits. No, not gold to buy more potatoes, but credits to buy MVP or VIP, like if you vote 15 days straight, you get like 5 credits which is enough for VIP for a month or something like that.

 

Or we can do this: Reduce the ammount of gold they can get Simple solution.

 

Yeah, I feel like the majority of the PvP players would be satisfied with a reduced amount of voting benefits.

 

Well, not really, then people will just vote more and get alts and stuff imvolved and it'll be a huge mess.

 

I'm guessing the server gets compensation for being popular.
