The point of this thread is....that we should not say, "Tpa for skin comp!" What is wrong about that? Some people like to do that. If you feel you are being spammed, simple turn chat off.

 

Wow. If everyone is focuses on their actions this whole thing could have never happened.

 

Ignore the haters. Some people are just not as mature and they are just looking for attention. /ignore

 

Just simply ignore just as everyone said. Every now and then there will be spammer or a troller. No server can stop them from coming or not have one. You just have to get used to it.

 

Or you could go to your chat setting and turn it off... Or you can just block the player ;v

 

You know, the reason they even added the localized chat was because people were spamming about skin comps and stuff.

 

But the problem is, when every you shout in chat, people want to teleport to you or ask you to advertise something.
I am not hating, but I just get annoyed from all of this. I simply reply "sorry no"

 

I'm telling you other kids on other creative servers do this kind of crap and that's what happens when you have a populated creative server. You get plots that are built with dedication and precision and plots that are spaces of land filled with crappy skin competition builds. I've been on the server back when less than 10, 5, or even nobody would be on.

 

To be honest I really hate this. Like phanta said the people who made this server do not like it when this happens. It gets fun after a while, but now it is plain annoying to me. I won't turn chat off because I talk to my friends that way.

 

If you see someone spamming skin/build comps with shout please report them to me. We got the shout so we got less people spamming and I do not want the spamming to return.

 

I can relate to you on this on a level. It drives me crazy how many people msg me per day: "will you shout for my skin comp?" Or they want to tpa to me. Sometimes I just see in the chat: "RandomNoob69 has requested to teleport to you." But, I don't rage at them. Just do your best to ignore this. And who's the person spamming this? blonde_girl?

 

I am on DarSwag's side. Have any if you been as active as me? No. UNICORNNS (player name) spammed all day including sassygirl and stampylover. Mostly the AdvBuilders are the ones who spam. They need to have a lesson to not spam only do it friggin once. I seriously almost bursted like DarSwag. Well, yeah we can turn off chat but we cant do commands we need to do. Like warp or if we are WE1 or higher we need world edit commands to do. Or we need to tpa for a meeting in our build team. And to know if there is a contest going on, but that is rare. The local chat is for a reason, like phanta and Zap said. The builders need to group together if they want one not ask US!!! I got spammed from the whole server (as in builders)"SHOUT THIS:TPA FOR SKIN COMP OR ELSE!" Patrick I saw your post but I disagree and agree. I agree when report but I disagree when the builders get away with it. Because if you report the one that is saying it both of them should get reported. How to find their names: Look at the name that chats it and who to tpa to. It gets really annoying if you say no your not going to spam it and they call you a ****head or a *****!!! STOP THIS MADNESS!

I do. Just I wanted to say my part of the story which would be way longer but I thought it was long enough. I will say more.

 

Im neutral in this thread.

Skin competition spammers are really annoying and i agree that they should be some kind of punishment/demote for Spamming

But from the other side you can just /ignore [playername]
And the. The CMs will handle the situation

 

This is why I wish the Creative server would go back to how it used to be in 2013.
