What the community has been coming to lately

Just as a fact, hardly any players are over the age of 18 on our servers, and the average ages are actually 13-14. People like this are everywhere and unfortunately, you can't stop it from happening. If it is very extreme racism or flame, then report it.

 

Any server with competitive games = problems.

 

On behalf of the staff members and myself we are truly sorry for the incidents dealing with bullying. Our moderators try very hard to moderate the chat as much as possible. One thing I can bring up is to simply just ignore them, they know nothing about you and age is but a number. Maturity is all that counts and you should have that mindset. Believe me, this community is going to turn out better than ever this year and you can view the changes here. To help us I just need you to answer a couple questions to make this community a safer and more fun environment.

Where do you usually get bullied (what servers and such)?
What do you think we can do to make this a safer and more fun environment?

Also, if it is extremely horrible and starts to get INNAPPROPTRATE like links, etc. report it to your teacher or trusted guardian.

 

Uhm, why to your teach or trusted guardian? Like audi mentioned before, take a screenshot and report it to the staff and we'll take care of it.

This is getting too old, if people are pointing out problems they don't even care about how it's fixed. Try to actually solve the problem before coming to complain like the other 1,000+ players out there (trying to say with the least offense).

 

Why can't everyone look on the bright side. We just got like a load of new amazing staff, in my opinion we are pulling together. Over 5 SMODs now, we only had 1. We have welcomed over 5 new mods. PvP is updating to 1.8 with a map refresh. MCMOBA is being created, KitBrawl is right around the corner, war 2.0 has had some slurred conversations. Guys we need to look forward. Forget the past because it is what it is. The future is what we see tommorow and that is what you all need to look forward to.

Just do /ignore (name of the coward that is annoying you). If you execute this command, you won't see their chat messages. They won't be able to /msg you either. This is a really useful command

 

This is sorta kind of how it works in communitys like this these days.

Flying, it is sort of your fault though, to be honest... You have been repeatedly rude to some members before and you did hack. I do somewhat agree, but you aren't getting bullied.

 

The only way it can be fixed is if the players release they're making such a big deal over loosing a few pixels. Honestly no point.

I have just suggested to putty the following:
"I feel that all the servers should have a broadcast message that repeats every 5 minutes or so posting forums links to help players and suggestions like /ignore to ignore players (if getting bullied and such)"

I feel like this will be beneficial for everyone and make the forums more alive because more players will check the website.

But I do agree, this happens much more often than any other server I've played on. People have different opinions on why that is, and the only thing you can do it about is to report him/her.

 

Where do you usually get bullied (what servers and such)? WarZ. I've been told to kill myself in real life multiple times. It occasionally happens on Mc-War, but most of the time it's WarZ.
What do you think we can do to make this a safer and more fun environment? More moderators. The more the better. Also, the moderators and S-Mods we do have should be stricter about muting people for bullying. In my opinion it should be: Disrespect/Bullying- Warning. If you are rude to someone or bully them again- 10 minute mute. If you do it again when you're unmuted- 1 day mute.

I think muting is the ideal way to deal with bullies. Because it doesn't really stop them from playing the game, but it does stop them from bullying people. Because really, if you are mad or just trying to provoke someone and you get banned for an hour, it will likely make you even more annoyed. But if you just get muted, you can carry on playing the game and hopefully you'll have cooled down when 10 minutes is up. But at the same time, WarZ isn't a very fun place if you're constantly being bullied and hated on. So, muting is a good medium- not as lenient as multiple warnings before any action is taken, but not as strict as banning people for it.
