Why do you like MCWar?

I don't really like Mc-War anymore. The community is horrible like most people said. I've lost any interest in the game because it's just repetitive. Go to a server, try to win or nuke. I got addicted and started raging which was very horrible for me and my reputation. If mc-war pumps out updates I may play it.

 

I like McWar because of the overall fun I have running around shooting players.(wow that sounds lame) I don't know the game as well as most players on the forums, but leveling up, trying out new guns and what not, it's enjoyable. I do prefer games such as resident evil or skyrim.. but this is something to do, oh and luckily I haven't been around many raging players.. most have been nice !

Well, if we had more coders War 2.0 could have been here already. But only having Myortvye on our side is loads of work to complete. He's working on mcmoba, kitpvp AND McWar 2.0, so it will take some time until they're done.

 

What I don't like is that we have been waiting for 2.0 for 2 years, they need to finish that before they go and make 2 new servers. They do need more coders.

 

I first found Mc-War about a year ago, it was the first gamemode I played on here. I recently started playing again and have to say that I love that it's a level up process. Gives you something visible to try to achieve.

 

When I first joined, I stayed because I enjoyed playing.

Today, I stay because of the community and because of Mc-Wars potencial.

Now, please don't kill me saying "The community is crap, ragers everywhere" and so on. Yes, the mc-war community was better. However, there are still so many players simply enjoying the server as well as many players with a great personality. I stay because I enjoy chatting and talking with those players and because I want to help the many average players, not breaking any rules on war.
Now the second reason, Mc-Wars potencial. When war was created, there were almost no gun servers, today there are more but this server is still unique and can be improved in many ways.

 

What about Mario?
Since he knows how to code guns, he should be right person to help.

Mario coded another non-brawl server while Myort was developing all of the servers and having a hard time.

 

I would say the people I meet every day are amazing, great forums, and the kindness of the mods.

 

Well, Orange resigned after a few months working on War 2.0 and it could be that Myortvye isn't aware of all the things Orange made. I'm sure he's working his ass of to complete most of the things.

A practice server isn't that hard to code I have heard, but his version is the best ones I have seen. Maybe ask Marion himself why he's not helping in the Brawl server.

 

I used to play it because 2 years ago it was (I think) the most unique server on Minecraft. Most people had not even thought of having CoD in Minecraft, and to see it created and created well blew my mind. I also really enjoyed playing with all the great players and staff that used to populate the servers. I guess that is what's missing now.

This is a thread to say why you LIKE mc-war. Don't get us all in a bad mood by complaining about it.

 

Well, it was the first server community I was a part of so it really spiked my interest in minecraft. Also, I loved it so much before the game was... soiled by all the Crossbows and huge clans. Back in the day, it was rare to see someone who was 30+! Now, 100+ is almost common! Also, infect was OP for the survivors so no one suicided. The zombies had no c4, nades, or EMPs. It was so fun back then, and the parkour was actually a challenge because there was a reward, the minigun. The law was 3 shot burst, the M4A1 was the best gun in the game, and the community was amazing. Ahhh... the old days.
