Names I don't like

Well, the whole trend of of having symbols outside of the real name, having a username that is symmetrical, or character patterns really started on xbox 360 and ps3 back in the days of COD 4. There were a TON of people that did this with their gamertags/PSN accounts. The common characters used for these purposes were X, V, O, and I (upper and lower case). Naturally, the trend continued and eventually made its way to minecraft, as people would keep their console names for other games (*cough* totally not like me). So, you would see accounts on COD 4 like xVioiVx,
_vx O xv_, XVI Killer IVX, etc.

BE ENLIGHTENED.

 

Things I hate in usernames:

• an excess of numbers
• leetspeak (or otherwise replacing letters with numbers)
• X, XX, XXX etc
• capitalizing every other letter (eg "IaMaDuMbAsSnErD")
• underscores that separate useless characters from the rest of the name (eg 69_Venom_69)
• references to other games or players (eg "CODPLAYER69" or "skythekidrs01") nobody cares how good you are at call of duty, and we especially dont care that you are obsessed with skydoesminecraft.
• words that accentuate a player's prominence (eg "super_killer" or "pro_sniper") i believe that if youre actually worth **** at the game you dont need to try to embellish yourself like that

Things I like in usernames:

• something unique and recognizable (eg "Gravity" or "@Signatured") preferably one word with no additional letters or numbers. respect the word you choose.
• They can be made up words as well (eg "@Mokolee") as long as they are unique and make phonetical sense

@End_Result is a good name
it is short, unique, and to the point
the underscore separates the two word

 

• Usernames with over 50% containing numbers.
• When people don't capitalize the first letter in their username.
• Swagmaster (insert numbers).
• Minecrafter (insert numbers).
• Creeper (insert numbers or hunter).
• Zombiekiller (insert numbers).
• Completely capitalized usernames.
• My username. :V

 

Basically any name that contains the word creeper

I hate names that have more than 50% of numbers in them, but other than that, I don't mind.
