    Distributed Denial of Service, the proper term for only one person hitting someone's connection of is DoS though (Denial of Service). Distributed Denial of Service is when multiple personnels plot to attack the victims IP all at once... I still don't get why people say DDoS when only probably one person is hitting them off. DoS is the correct term. You can attempt to protect your IP with a VPN (Virtual Private Network) which changes your IP or just hides it.

    When one person is sending fake requests to a server with compromised accounts and users

    It's DDoS because there is the attacker handling more than one computer then the compromised users (more than one compromised users) this is why it's called DDoS. Because of the compromised users are more than one. If there is only one compromised user it's called dos

    As I know people can change. Just want to ask a couple questions.
    Inferring that you have stopped DDoSing.

    Why did you stop DDoSing?
    What changes have you made that will make sure you will not DDoS again?

    1. I saw what it did to people and how it wasted there time and also how childish/immature it was.
    2. Well I do not own a booter/botnet anymore and if I possibly get unbanned I will prove it to you in game.

    Do you hang out with any DDoSers anymore? I don't think you can prove me in game that you don't own a booter/botnet anymore.

    This also brings up the issue of swatting... DDoSing. Fine, you hate them. but why the **** would you swat. what personal gain do you get from that.

    How was that sarcasm............ you're basically saying DDoSing is the answer :/

    another interesting fact about VPN's. If your school uses a program to monitor your computer/uses something like smoothwall to block certain pages, VPN's unblock EVERYTHING.
