Class and rank info added to name

    As the amazing title suggests, I have this incredibly interesting idea about adding some visual things to the server. One of which being the addition of our rank (a number next to our name) and our Class (Meaning what weapon we are using). These would be different symbols:

    An "X" for automatics
    A Delta (yes the greek/roman letter) or simply a triangle for snipers
    A Circle for shotguns
    And a Hexagon for SMGs

    A very small idea, but one that I think would make the game feel more like it's base, call of duty, where you could easily see (with just a few button presses) the specs of a player. But this would be far more visual and connecting to each player. I believe this to be possible without much effort as I've seen several servers modify their nametags with relative ease.
    What does the community think?

    I like it even though I am unsure of if these symbols are available. But I'm down with it!

    This would need to be in 2.0 due to the fact we're adding classes to the game.
    I wouldn't mind having this.

    You mean to change the crosshair on the screen ? No problem, expect that it only expect 1 texture unless you do an animated one.

    As @teawithchoco said, that would be an interesting reticle instead of the current... thing... we have now. The only real issue (I'm going to restate what Choco said) is that we are unable to change that reticle without using a texture pack (as far as I know). That said, depending on what primary weapon you're using you would need to switch texturepacks to use the different reticles and therefore voids this whole thread because the standard crosshairs work just fine.

    Just saying: The poll is a bit of a trick question. I wasn't asking "is this a good idea" I was asking "Would you mind". So all of you who answered yes, thats technically a no vote. Im not sure if you meant to do that, but thats what it says.

    On topic:
    Not the crosshairs. I meant the names above each player's head. It would look something like this:
    Jkzoom 72 (put triangle here) Sniper
