What is better

Minigun is the best donator weapon.
It works in all of the game modes.

Crossbow takes no skill and I have no respect for those who use it for cheap kills and nuking purposes because of how ridicilously overpowered and game-breaking it is.

 

Maybe read some gun guides?

Minigun is no lie the best donor weapon. I still can't believe how so much 100+ spam the crossbow for a speed nuke, then act like they're the best and so MLG.

 

It depends,

The minigun is okay on most maps. I find there are none where it's op for tdm.
For FFA however, it's op. The recoil on the gun has kept me from using it on tdm ever since.

Crossbow, I find is either extremely op, or absolutely terrible. When I say op, of course, cbow spam.
I don't have a definite answer.

 

I'd personally love mini-gun and it's my favorite gun to use. If you plan on getting it, you'll need to purchase scavenger. The gun does not reload and only has 64 bullets, and you generally will use 16 on a person. At close range, mini-gun can 3 shot people and it is the fastest firing gun. At a moderate range it works fine. Players tend to get knocked up in the air, and will die of fall damage if you stop shooting. It is terrible at long range combat. The gun is also excellent in gamemodes such as infect, ffa, and ctf because it kills quickly and the spraying bullets hit many players.

Crossbow is mediocre. It is a very powerful weapon, but you get bored very quickly using it. I wouldn't get it if I had to pick between mini-gun and it.

 

What? Do you have any idea what you are talking? -.- Cross bow takes extreme skill in some maps, mini doesn't.

 

Crossbow replenishes ammo in a way that is twice as easy. It is one of 2 weapons the game that can get you more than 1 kill in 1 shot fired.

 

If you have scav, minigun but if you don't, crossbow

 

I think minigun, for both guns your going to need scav to really use so get scav too. The mini gun is great for FFA and infect because of its fast fire, little to no reload and the ability to spray and pray.

 

Imo, minigun, except for some tdm/ctf maps. Mini is good for all gamemodes, and most maps except the really big ones like toystory and launch. There are certain situations where cbow is better though, like on plaza and hardhat

 

Depends which game mode but generally I prefer the mini gun.

 

Depends of Maps and gamemods, preferences, weakness and strong.

 

That works only if there are a lot of afk+I suggest trying to nuke launch w/ cbow.

 

I see 20 times more people launching nukes with the crossbow than minigun. Look at the YouTube videos, where the vast majority of the nukes are easily earned by spamming a bow.
The nuke in McWar is not the same nuke that used to be because of this broken weapon.

 

My point is that majority of noobs run around the map with miniguns and easily get kills, if they would rub with cbow they would get much less kills. I understand your point too though

i always want to call a cbow user " do you have to use cbow" or "cbow no skill" but then i remember i use the cbow every now and then...

 

The obvious choice is the minigun, because of its versatility. It thrives in almost every gamemode, while the crossbow is only really good for tdm and ctf.

If you're going to buy either of these weapons, pick up scavenger because the minigun and crossbow are essentially useless without it.
