[Smod] Staff interviews #11 Lord_Roke ~ The Rock!

Oh, hey didn't see you there! Got another staff interview for you! Today @Lord_Roke is here!



1. Where and when did you find McBrawl?
I found Brawl (Multiplayer Servers) like many old players on here: Mc-War was a sponsored server on McPvP's website. I joined in fall 2012, can't tell the exact date.

2. What made you want to become staff?
My first reason for applying was a new application system: You would no longer post a public thread on the forums, instead there was a google form where you would put in a few sentences and wait for the admins to review them. But of course that was not my motivation: There were less rule breakers at that time and as a staff member you would mainly help new players and answer questions, which I always enjoyed doing.

3. Where does your username come from?
Lord Roke is a person from the His Dark Materials series. I did not choose the name because of that person though, I just liked the title Lord and Roke sounded cool to me.

4. What is your main job as a SMOD?
Since we are so many SMods now, we don't have specific jobs, we mostly share them. My main jobs are forums moderation, Video of the week, Brawl Changelog and - like all SMods - Ingame Moderation.

5. What is the origins of Lord_ROCK and why do you hate to be called it?
One day, @YxTimxY thought it would be funny to call me rock. Don't ask me why. However, I don't really hate it. I just make it look like I do, because the reactions and jokes are very funny.

6. What do you like or dislike about McBrawl?
The creativity. We have server types no other network has and we are constantly working on creating new unique servers such as McMoba.

7. What would you change or add to McBrawl?
The one thing I would change is the relation between staff and community. I often feel like most players see the staff members as wicked people who only destroy the fun, I would love if they understood that the staff is important for the server and in the end only helps the servers and the community.

8. Who was your first friend on McBrawl
Without a doubt, Penguinplot. He was the first person I would call a friend, however, we never talked to eachother on skype or teamspeak. We just got to know eachother and played together whenever we could, camping together in infect as well. The last time I saw him was about a year ago as a member of HACK.

9. What was the first server you applyed to and why?
I applied for Mc-War first, because I played on it a lot and enjoyed being a member of its community.

10. Why won't you do a face reveal?
I like my privacy and since this is not necessary and won't really change anything, I will simply not do it.

I am aware of that, since he is mostly inactive now and he stopped doing it, I have restarted it because I loved it so much!
