Simple and easy command which toggles the chat censor. For people of a young age they can type /censor to censor out rude/offensive words but for the older people  you can do the command to show the censored words. I've seen many threads about why are these words blocked and I have more commands that could alter that.

/censor (word) off - would uncensor a certain word you believe shouldn't be censored.

/censor pass (password) - So that parents can lock their children's censor to either on or off with a password of thief choice. (mainly for smaller children so they can't see bad words.)

I believe people should have their own choice, this would be a good way of doing that.

Only problem with a censor password is that many children wouldn't tell their parents about the command.

It was just an extra, almost branch off the /censor plugin. We could still have it so it toggles on and off.

In updates, we have been told that they will make different levels of the chat filter that you could set

Mineplex did something similar, where you type /filter to either enable or disable cursing and other blocked words. Im sure this would be a good idea for future prefrences

I think this is a great idea, personally. If you don't agree with the chat filter, which has been problems in the past this would help to solve that. The only thing is that this could cause some issues if someone disables a word and then gets called it.

Situation: MinecraftPlayer disables the "N word", then gets called it and reports the player. In my opinion, this is 100% MinecraftPlayer's fault for disabling the word, if he/she didn't want himself/herself being called this.

This is a great idea, especially this part here. It answers a lot of questions about younger members on brawl and overall is a well thought out idea, even simple as it is. Excellent point and hopeful gets implicated into the servers :finger:

*edit I don't know why the quote isn't working, sorry*

I'm... more or less still new here (Mcpvper) so I may just be spewing hot air when I say this but when it comes to this subject in particular, it seems like the head admins here are extremely adamant in keeping the current system in place and really aren't interested in changing this any time soon (Mcpvp gamemodes never had a censor until the switch and every attempt to persuade the admins to remove it has ended in a flat out denial.). So while I do agree and would welcome something like this in-game, I am seriously doubting that this idea or any similar idea would be added.

Its just for kids that dont want to see people swearing with certain words, like sicknesses, or other words that may hurt some people.
So I think this is a good idea, but its just your responsibility to /censor or not
    Great Idea

If people want to be immature and curse let them, its almost impossible to censor every "Bad" word out there, especially the fact there are many ways to bypass it. The sickening part about this is the fact kids play this game, and honestly if you cursed in front of a kid it doesn't make you tough, IF YOUR READING THIS AND YOU SWEAR STOP ITS NOT COOL.
I agree with your argument +1

I think it is a good idea but younger kids probably wont even tell there own parents about the command.

Censor should be on by default, /censor will remove it. Not the other way around.
