    A while ago I made a thread in the PvP Survival section stating that there should be a new rank implemented on pvp thats gives a player a couple of more warps by showing activity and friendliness on the forums, server, and even teamspeak. That thread can be found here. That thread didn't get that many supporters so that is why I thought why not implement it on all Brawl servers?

    How to Achieve this Rank?
    • Show activeness around the McBrawl Community
    • Become a well knows player by being friendly towards all
    • Be a respectful member
    What this rank offers? Well we have to give some credit for the winner.
    • A perk on a server that the applicant or player has won on (For Example: Extra Warps on Survival Pvp)
    • A cool unique prefix for the player that is limited but customize able
    How to Apply and Receive the Rank?
    • Make a thread and some contestants will be accepted by high staff members
    • Once the final contestants are accepted there will be a vote for the winner just like the "Video of the Month" voting system
    Extra Information:
    • Rank would be monthly giving it a balance and a opportunity for all players
    • Rank can be taken away by staff members if signs from the player have shown disrespect
    • A possible forum tag for the player like "Admin" but instead something else
    That is basically my conclusion to this idea. I think this idea would encourage the community to be more friendly with each other and people can stop having all these flame wars.

    Just seems like the moderator rank without any authority.
    Seems interesting, but if you want to help the community why not just apply for staff instead of this?

    Some people don't want to apply for moderator because they may not be fit for the position. But all this needs is to show activeness and friendliness around the server, not the permissions that a moderator gets.

    To be honest, I think it just over complicates things. We already have four layers of command, Admins->S-Mods->Moderators->Players

    If we add another rank 'Helper' to the mix, I feel like it's a bit needlessly complicated. We have a staff team that works well, I don't think we need a Helper or a Forums Mod or anything of that sort.


    My idea:

    From what you've said above it sounds like an active and respected member of the community can be voted in to be a Helper for a month. But the rank Helper makes it sound as if it's supposed to help people, and from what I understand, it's not. It just sounds like a reward. And I'm all for rewarding these players! I just don't think a new rank is needed.

    So what if, every month in Brawl News, a player was chosen by perhaps the moderators, to be the most helpful and respected member of our community. They would get maybe $20 in the shop, and it would be featured in the News. No rank, no public voting, the moderators just quietly decide.

    This is just unfair and will divide the community. I'm strongly against this idea because I think that helped should be a more special of a rank than that.

    I think it should just be like a"Your helpful, active, kind, and eligible to become a mod" kinda rank, maybe just give it permission to kick.

    I wouldn't give a person the ability to kick someone else just for being 'nice and friendly' sooo many people would abuse this if the are 2-faced.
    I like your idea, but there should be public voting, and the voting votes would go like this
    Admin: Ability to reject the winner if 2/3 of the admins agree (+10 or -10 vote)
    S-Mod: If all smods disagree with the admins they can overrule them if ALL agree (+5 or -5)
    Mods: Mods= (+3 or -3)
    Members= +1 or -1

    I meant that people could get the chance to apply for this "helper rank" and that there would be a limit to each server, and these players can't just be "I played for like 12 hours, can I have helper?" and get it.

    I don't think many of you understand what this rank actually offers. It lets people know that this person is a trusted member in the community is is willing enough to help them. I mean moderators aren't on 24/7 so this person can also be helpful. I never wanted any permissions for this rank.

    Are you saying that by being a friend of a staff member, you get a free rank?
    I want to point this out because there are way too many nice people in PvP community, and I feel like it is going to be impossible to give a rank to all of them. Also, I strongly am concerned that people can stop being helpful and/or nice as of whole and still have the rank, which kind of is broken.
    Also, how about other servers?

    I'd imagine that people and alt's would vote for their friends, and the poll would be too large.
