    So, I have seen diverse opinions about the recoil on the weapons. Some say that it makes the game more realistic and better, other say that it causes harm, for example, people going OoM. I've seen both pros and cons of it, and so, I wanted to adress this issue directly.
    What is your opinion on recoil in Mc-War?

    The poll is there, and the votes are not displayed publicly. This is just a question, and just because someone votes yes or no, doesn't mean that the changes will happen instantly. It is up to our administrators and developers to take the final decision.
    NOTE: The recoil itself came from a Battlefield player, meaning that he/she was strongly used to gigantic amount of recoil (like in those series), and therefore, the values seem to be overdone.

    We need to fix out of map glitches, but otherwise it is good.

    It needs to be balanced. At the moment it is awful, allowing people to get out of map all the time. But if It was to be balanced then it would be good once again.

    I like it but not when its bugged, like now.... It makes the server more balanced/not that many 2op4me players(Its harder to become a "good" player)

    As a sniper, I can vouch for how absolutely overpowered it is to not have to plant yourself before firing. The recoil makes you have to think about each shot rather then sprint jump/quick scoping your way to victory. Which is fun, but not that fair when you're fighting someone who doesn't miss often.
    So yes, my thoughts on recoil is that it is essential for further balance. I would even say that we should add a few new mechanics to recoil, like being crouched would reduce it and standing shots would be far more aggressive. This way, people with big guns would really need to stay back

    Please don't vote against recoil only because it allows you to get out of map. This is a unintentional bug that will be fixed.

    Personally I always liked the recoil because it makes the game more realistic and also harder. It is already easy enough to kill a player on Mc-War in comparison to CoD or Battlefield. The recoil makes it a bit more challenging.

    When it works the way it should, I love it. I feel recoil is a good way to indirectly nerf some guns without changing their stats. So ya, positive for me.

    Personally, I don't like the recoil. But it makes it more realistic which is fine with me, but it needs to be fixed so people don't use it to go oom. When that is fixed, I would think that it would be cool if there were some guns without the recoil. Either way it's fine with me.

    I like the normal recoil.
    The current recoil just screws up the game. It's so easy to go oom...

    I like the recoil.
    It adds a realistic feel, isn't over whelming and helps at times.
    The recoil isn't massive, and if your on a block simply shift. Also, with model you can use the recoiled to push you into a safe area, while also facing places and shooting at them. Just a few tips :smile:

    The recoil was perfectly fine until it got bugged out and caused people to go out of map.

    I like it, but I thought it was stupid to re-add it since the reason it got removed in the first place was to fix the oom glitch with it.

    I am not a fan of recoil...

    Pass me a Mountain Dew and a skullcrusher. I liked it before recoil was a factor in game play.

    I have mixed feelings about recoil. On the good side, it makes the game more realistic. It adds effects to the guns which makes players actually have to try, instead of the 'point and shoot' style. On the bad side, since this is Minecraft and the server often lags, recoil often makes it very difficult to aim. So I am neutral for now. Meow!

    Right now it is okay, it just needs some balancing. I really think it makes it more of a challenge. It also makes it a lot more realistic. Just wait, it'll be balanced soon.

    It's realistic? Get the most powerful rifle in War, which barret should be and shoot it. Did it send you to space? Or the minigun did it send you over to Narnia? Realistic is more like a slight nudge back, of the rifle and your body. Moving you about 1mm or just nudging you back a bit then back to normal.
