Idea Stattrak weaponry

    Basically, you could acquire either a book or a name tag that would assign the stattrack feature to the weapon - it would count your overall kills with that weapon.
    This would be neat, and has no downsides.
    The weapon could be displayed like this:
    Diamond Sword
    <Enchantments>
    Total kills - <kill number>

    The same would go for the bows. New enchantments would not affect it.
    We could even have stattrak pick axes which would count the amount of blocks mined.

    Also, when an item is enchanted, it could have a small chance of receiving stattrak.

    I recently asked some community members of PvP about this, and they seemed to fancy this idea.

    It is an interesting concept, and would be cool to be added. Unfortunately the coders have to fix the problems with the server before they can add more things to the server, and who knows how long that could be.

    I don't really see any significance to this enchant. It doesn't enhance anything, and is more of an add-on.
    If this were to be coded in, it would be implemented much later since bugs and updates are a much higher priority right now.

    But I have to admit, its a really creative idea and you guys clearly put some thought into it. How would the stats be shown? Do you need to enter a command or does it come up when you use it, or what? Also, what if you die with it and someone else takes it? Do they also get the same stats as the previous owner only that they increase it or does it like reset for every new owner?

    1. As I stated on the thread, the amount of kills would be displayed under the enchantments, saying - "total kills: <kill number>

    2. The weapons name would be modified as well, saying "Stattrak <weapon name>"

    3. The stats are going to transfer.
    Just so that it's fun.
    Though, if sold, the weapon would have reset stats.

    Okay so for the name (sorry for the excessive questions) do you get to automatically rename it or does it require an anvil after you enchant it?
    If you automatically get to change the name then I see how it would work but if you don't, it would say, for example, "Stattrak Diamond Sword".

    1. Undecided here. We could have a Stattrak book that could be obtainable, which you would just have to add on the anvil. I don't think it would be worth an enchantment.
    The ways of obtaining it could possibly be through donating and as a rare mob drop.

    Maybe this could be added. I know there's a way this can be added and it is possible. But it may tip the survival aspect a bit in crafting. Also the combat is nice but the other parts may be confusing for some players. Also if someone gets the sword from someone else what would that be? Or the same aspect of Counterstrike? Curious to know!

    Isn't there already a sidebar that shows your Kills, Deaths and balance? As cool as it is, I feel this should be deleted if they wanted to add this plugin.

    It shows your overall stats, not the stats with a certain weapon.

    No. Don't bring CS:GO to PvP xD. I like the idea of stattrak. But don't keep it the same. Make it it's own. Call it the KillCounter. You add it too your diamond sword and it gives you a menu on his many kills you have had with it, this menu only comes up whilst holding the sword. It could be added on to the side GUI menu we already have on brawls PvP. :smile:

    I don't think it should be obtainable from donating as this server is so good at being fair. If things like this are added that are only obtainable by donating it might be donate obtainable magic boots next and the server would be unbalance which is why it is one of the best servers around, and why I play on it.
