    WTF.
    WTF.
They are going to ban MINECRAFT in Turkey because it apparently encourages real life violence against animals.

AND THEY HAVENT EVEN BANNED GTA5 AND COD LAST TIME I CHECKED.

    I DONT LIVE IN TURKEY.
    LEL.
I just saw this on reddit so that's why.
Aaand on IGN and Gamespot news.

I'm one of the 4 people in my class who don't have an accent in English. You can already tell me not being Turkish due to me being a strict atheist who is proud of being one.

It is highly unlikely they will ban it until they see a very high end of violence

MineCraft is terrible. It supports murdering animals, ripping off villagers, and killing them too. Turkey is right to do this

Now the story that I read about this issue had someone say a ban was "out of the questions", and "The game is not banned and is not going to be banned." Link: http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-31836323
Now this person is a spokesman for the Turkish embassy, so I am not aware if this claim is truly authentic. Even if the government wanted to ban Minecraft, technically they do not have the power (I believe, not much knowledge of how the Turkish government works). A court needs to authenticate a ban I think.
Also, keep in mind that Turkey has a history of banning media. Two years ago Turkey all together banned Twitter from the country (which was lifted, I believe). But anyway, the idea of banning Minecraft is silly. I can understand limiting multiplayer functions, but considering banning the game for violence is silly. Most games have violence in them one way or another.

Give Putin a call. He'll settle things with the Turkish government.

I heard about this. Apparently it is because it is portraying violence towards women. All of minecrafts creatures are gender neutral, so unless they want to just ban multiplayer so you can't smack someone that has a girl skin with your sword made out of about 50 pixels, which is still extreme to the tenth degree, the Turkish government needs to get their stuff together

To be honest, read the title.
It has the capital "T" there.
