Survey

I think Brawl could benefit from a bi-monthly or monthly survey. Each survey would be broadcasted in chat on the servers for 48 hours and announced on the forums. It could ask some of the same questions each time for example: How would you rate Brawl's staff these last two months/month?, What issues in the Brawl network need the most attention right now?, What changes have been made that you didn't enjoy/didn't think would benefit Brawl? What servers do you feel are being neglected/ignored? Do you feel any guns/items should be nerfed/buffed on any servers?

I think it would be a really good way for the community to anonymously give their thoughts on what's going on. If the staff do what they think is best for Brawl, it may not turn out that way, and the same thing goes for if the staff do what the community thinks it is best for Brawl. What is needed is some kind of way for the staff to see what the community thinks of upcoming changes and updates. For example some questions for a survey right now could be: What is your current feeling on War 2.0?, What is your current feeling on the new SGG and SG servers? Do you want the Spas-12 to be nerfed? Do you approve of moderators having moderator rank on two or three servers? Do you think WarZ needs a new map? Should the guns on War have recoil?

It could also help tone down the amount of rant threads. If there is a monthly survey where people can voice their opinions, then they may not feel as much of a need to post rant threads on the forums. And instead of people coming to admins with petty problems that could probably wait, they could just wait until the survey. Obviously for some big issues, it can't wait, but I think it might be easier if all the little issues are submitted at once in the survey.

The results of the survey could be posted in the Brawl News.
