Idea Logout

So don't provoke better players.

 

No, they're not going to make the logout instant. When it says logout, you have like a few milliseconds for it to actually logout. And saying 'I just died in 3/4 diamond' won't help your case at all.

 

I believe the reason log out is so long is so that A. It can save your location and all of your items and B. So you can not simply just attempt to PvP log.

 

So you want everyone to start logging again? No thanks.

 

The reason they added the /logout system was so people can instant log. If they made it instant, it would completely ruin the idea of having it added.

 

The logout time is 10 seconds (including the "Logging out!" part). After it hits that part, it waits one more second because that's how the scheduler works and then kicks you.

 

I'd rather die in 3/4 than not be able to kill a single soul because they're logging out on me constantly. I can easily get 3/4 or full D back because people can't log out from me.

 

I'd rather see combat logging than not being able to escape from a 1v6.


EDIT: Make it like the old system so if you get hit, you're in combat for 10 seconds. Type /ct to see how long you have left. Then you can instantly log out if you haven't recently been hit.

 

I agree %100 percent.

 

But if you saw in one of LuckyPop's videos, he ran for 10 seconds and log to avoid death. I don't find it fair when you're about to kill someone, they just run then log out.

 

Well that's your fault for not landing enough shots for the kill. I don't find it fair when you're getting massively outnumbered and you have to wait 10 seconds without moving or die.

 

We all have our opinions I guess.
