    I saw a post about a flare gun for MC-War, but think this is a good idea for WarZ, Flares have no uses right Noe anyways and don't work when placed

    Flares purposely don't work due to the lag.

    This would be nice as i would like to use the Flares again as they were fun to use and then you can have a zombie army attack all the people in a room for you.

    MVP's use to be able to open iron doors but I believe they removed that functionality.

    Well, I think that flares should allow you to bring zombies to you - and help you find your friends! Like a literal flare..

    Flares are currently disabled because they cause lag. But if they were added back in it would be an OK idea since you could shoot flares away from you so zombies would go after the flares. Would be useful for big hordes but you would need to change the AI so the zombies take priority over the flare instead of the player.

    I misunderstood this idea until I read the comments. My point of view was that it was a gun that when shot upwards, shoots a Minecraft Firework in the air, similar to a real life flare gun. But yeah your idea sounds cool , but it just seems a bit pointless in my opinion.

    I think that the flares should be brought back, but as ammo. The flame bow, I think, would be the PERFECT gun to fire them. They have the same effect as the Molotov, but a smaller range. I also think that they could temporarily distract the zombies, but not gain their full attention. I don't think that sniper ammo would be the best ammunition for the flame bow, does anyone feel the same way?

    That isn't a bad idea at all actually, use the Redstone torches as a sort of Flame Arrow
