Addition to "Personal Reports" Page

    Hello, I have an idea for an addition to the personal reports page. I think another box should be added to the personal reports page. I think it is necessary and will save some confusion, that I have experienced. The original idea I though of was specifically for unsuccessful reports, to save a profile post or PM, but I think it will be helpful for successful reports too!

    As we know, a single personal report contains the following information.
    Defendant - Server - Reason - Proof - Extra - Applied - Status

    I think anew box titled "Staffs Note" (or anything else thats self explanatory) should be added on. Basically, it will be a short note explaining why or why not the report was accepted/denied.

    Examples/scenarios for successful report:
    • Banned for: Hacked Client: Killaura - MC-WarZ
    • Banned for: Glitching: OOM - MC-War
    • Banned for Advertising - McParty
    Examples/scenarios of Unsuccessful Reports
    • No action taken for: Invalid Proof
    • No action taken for: Proof URL invalid [misspelt]
    • No action taken for: Player Already banned
    Ect ect ect.

    Thats about it, I feel this will help a lot and be a valuable resource addition to the personal reports page. It will save things like chickenputty and other admins getting tagged and PMed for for things like "Why was my report denied!! Why isn't he banned! Was the link not working? " ( That one especially) Etc.

    This will end the stream of private messages directed towards the administrators, asking "Why is [so and so] not banned?". It'll clear up the forums, too. Thank you for bringing this up!

    Well, currently, it does say "Resolved with [Put something here]", but I do like the idea of elaborating off of that
    Also, for the valid reports, you can also check bans.brawl.com to see more specific reasoning

    Whilst this is true and I do agree with you, I think implementing Serine's idea will still clear up the administrator's PM box and the forums. We do occasionally see a thread named "How come [so and so] aren't banned?" Also, not many know about bans.brawl.com, unfortunately, which causes the useless threads/PMs.

    If its resolved with no action, that leaves you to something, Was my report invalid? Was the link working? That gets answered now.

    Displaying the reason why they were banned is easy and simple because it's already inputted by staff.
    Displaying the reason why the report was denied would take more work for staff because they would have to input that on every denied submission.

    If we had staff choose from 3 or so pre-worded option bubbles, would that satisfy the need of knowing?
    Ex: Insignificant proof, Invalid proof link, and Player already banned

    Tells you the reason why they were banned or the reason the appeal was denied.
