    Sup Brawlers,

    Rarely have you heard people say it but I am going to miss our buggy" legacy system", the original game.

    And I am.....

    While not perfect, it has been a fun system. I know that some people will continue to play after the new 2.0. Some people will not want to play the new sever. Believe it or not, there are people who like this server and the laggy gaming (no system is ever lag free, regardless of what people tell you).

    And there are people who will want to only play the new server.

    I think there are many among us who are skeptical of 2.0 being released. While slick and new, it will still most likely have bugs.

    Maybe there is some nostalgia for the original.... In movies, the 2nd, 3rd versions are rarely as good as the original.

    If the Admins want some user feedback I would also like to see the new game, even in Beta format. I think the more communication around the new game the better the outcome will be.

    off-topic: Has an official release date for war 2.0 even been confirmed? I am pretty sure not.

    on-topic: I will just play on both. A lot more on 2.0 tho :V since it clearly will be superior

    All I have seen is #Soon...no confirmation on date. Would be cool if a date was put out there and it was celebrated....just saying.

    Well, war 2.0 isn't going to be released anytime soon, if ever.

    I think brawl bit of a bit more than they can chew with 6 or 7 new projects at once. Yes, it is probably an amazing idea, but executing it just isn't possible with our current amount of coders. Atleast not by summer this year. Probably not even by christmas. Don't get me wrong, our current coders are amazing, there just isn't enough of them.

    So it isn't certain that war 2.0 will ever exist, which means that eveyone will be playing war 1.0 for atleast another year.

    Very good observation about coders and biting off more than we can chew. You are probably right about 2.0 being released.

    Once the new War server is released, I believe that many people will move away from the Legacy server. The amount of updated guns, killstreaks and plugins will make the new Call of Duty experience almost incomparable to the old War server. Even though stats being reset on the new War server will put a lot of people off, however I think that i once it's released, many would rather play on a much better server which overall has a better experience.

    Like most new things, the plugins, resource packs and associated releases will lag behind the actual game release.

    Legacy system refers to the game we are currently playing.

    The legacy servers are servers like Creative, SG, SGG, current War, current WarZ etc. The reason why these will be called legacy servers, is because these will no longer be the main servers that Brawl showcases. These won't be accessible from portals on the hub, however you can connect to them via a compass that will be in your hotbar. You can read more information here.
