Too much OP stuff

    The most of you know that I am coming from McPvP. I played a SG game and my opinion is that in SG are too much OP stuff like Full Dia and God apples. My idea is to put iron armor and stone swords (max) in chests and iron, diamond and sticks that you can make a sword in the middle of the map. It's only an idea and feel free to put an reaction in the comments. (Sorry for my bad English, I have bad notes at school xD)

    Ye... SG can be kinda imba.

    Welcome to the forums :wink: atleast you have tasted some of the content we have had.. and even tho it wasn't that... positive. I am sure that there will be more positive things coming on the server very soon.

    I have noticed the loot is rather OP, too. I got a God apple twice in a row, and it was really easy. God apples usually will win you the game, and I feel as if it was just given to me. I like having OP stuff like God apples, but not as often as they appear. Diamond armour is also relatively easy to find.

    Thanks for the fast reply! The diamond armor isn't the most struggle, the most struggle is the God Apple, because yea, it's really easy to win the game if you have a God Apple.

    Being OP is pretty much the only thing setting it apart from other SGs, though most people (including me) agree that god apples should be much less common, and strength should be nerfed. Diamond gear is fine, though, and removing it would just make the game more generic.

    I agree that strength should be nerfed, or maybe it should get stronger as the game goes on. On my second game, I was 2 shot by someone who got lucky and had a strength potion, whereas I just had a wooden sword.

    It is pretty even. You said it is really easy to get this full diamond and god apples. If it is easy to get this gear, it actually makes it more fair. With it like this it makes it more fair because you can't win just by getting a lucky gapple, because other people can obtain them too.

    It's balanced, remember others can receive these items in chests to, the buffed pvp makes it more enjoyable imo.

    We can cut the probability of a god apple spawning by half or so... Diamond can stay how it is.

    If there's only, say a single god apple, wont the person who receives it be the more likely to win? I've found it fun thinking that any chest can contain a lingering god apple or diamond chest plate. It's also what make the game so fast paced. Not to mention the rare 1v1s with each person having the god apples! So intense.

    Kind of agree with this. Whenever someone gets a god apple and some decent gear, they're pretty much invincible. They can just wait until the deathmatch begins, eat the god apple, take down a full diamond guy, then steamroll the rest of the players.

    I enjoy the op items but honestly. When you have full diamond another diamond person should not be able to kill you in 3 hits flat. i ran into a diamond armored block that took 4 hearts of damage a hit on me making it impossible for me to react and defend myself. And i had full diamond armor and sword speed regen and a god apple. that's to much lel

    My first round I got rekt by a clearly more experienced player who knew where all of the loot was. Being an active Hivemc SG player, it was a huge adjustment, opening chests with diamond swords and god apples. I literally thought I was getting lucky chests the whole round.
