What are your guys thoughts on people applying ban, almost instantaneously.

It's as if they never get to ban, and when they see a slight problem they reach for there power and smack it in your face?

What are your thoughts. Should admins gets both sides of the story before banning someone on ts3?

I think there should be some kind of discussion involving the player.

Not even talking about in game. Teamspeak is completely different because its someone word against someone else's. No proof is ever provided and you just get a ban straight up. That just's wastes peoples time.

I'm saying they should go into the channel and talk to the player.

The way you ask the question makes it impossible to come to a logic conclusion.

We usually give warnings before we punish anyone, except for major rule breaks. Moderators do NOT sit around waiting to ban someone. They just do their job.
We also never ban someone witbout valid proof or a staff member as witness.

Just going to say that I disagree with you there.
Many times people leave channels and go to moderators and complain. That moderator would then come back and just apply a ban, with a verbal warning. The verbal warning is not to "stop" but its a warning that states " don't do it next time ". And then a ban is applied.

    Quite ridiculous.

Also, what do you even consider a major rule breaker over teamspeak?

I have never seen you on Teamspeak, what you claim to have seen happen sounds absolutely unrealistic from my Teamspeak experience.

Major rule breaks are DDoS, death threats etc.

Our staff should not be banning any players on TS without sufficient proof (such as picture/video), or the clarification of another staff member. If you see a staff member doing so, please report him/her to an Admin immediately to be further investigated.

Alright. A DDOS'er if proven guilty should be banned.

What I am talking about is when you are accused of trolling, and an admin comes down and bans you for trolling without even asking you anything...

Why should he ask you anything? If he joins your channel and sees you trolling, he will warn you, if you were already warned he will ban you.

I take it you didn't get what I said.

I stated, for example. Someone leaves the channel and tells a mod you are trolling. They join the channel, you say nothing. They ban. The mod visibly doesn't see the offence take place.

Do you get what I am trying to say now?

That shouldn't happen at all. If it does, report the mod to an admin. Mods shouldn't ban anyone without seeing the rulebreaker breaking a rule himself.
