    When we updated to 1.8 the TPS rate started fluctuating a lot and this was because of the entity spawn rate (zombies).

    Weren't zombies re-added, just at a slower spawn rate though?

    The spawn rate was lowered so the TPS doesn't fluctuate so much and create lag
