[Kit Discussion] What kits would you like to see? (Buffs & Nerfs)

    We are wanting to redo all of the kits, but no one is really suggesting much. We would love to hear suggestions from the community since the server is for you after all.

    Feel free to answer some, or all, of the questions below:
    • What kinds of kit classes would you like to see?
      • Pyro, Ninja, Brute, etc..
    • Which current kits are completely fine?
    • Which current kits need to be fully removed?
    • Which kits need a slight buff or nerf? and what?

    Include any additional ideas or suggestions you have for the kits and what they should or shouldn't have.

    1. Hidden - Give it higher defense. Code it where the kit gives you Resistance I, but with invisible particles.
    2. Pyro - It would make more sense if you had Fire Resistance I instead of Fire Protection II armor.

    The ninja needs to go. It's op (even with low defense) and pretty much the most controversial kit.

    The kits you have at the beginning before buying anything are fine. I personally would like to see kits with more unique special abilities.

    I suggested a witch kit a long time ago. I think I mentioned one of its unique abilities was being able to temporarily wither and poison players.

    Well killstreaks would be a start. I understand Ninja is already OP but if you made it so that everyone certain number of kills you would get a 'dart.' A dart would just be an extremely fast and high damaging arrow. For brute you could make it so that you don't take damage for one second or maybe get strength. I also think a blocking ability for a certain kit would be an interesting implementation.

    For Ninja I would say remove the jump boost and reduce the damage to a more manageable degree. As a CTFer I secondary the Ninja class there which is very proficient with no instant heals, armour, the difference being this ninja has temporary invis. Since this ninja has the speed and the luckiness of soup, it can easily strafe with the speed alone and avoid taking hits while at the same time being able to heal up.

    I would like to see a class that disorients your hotbar, like a trickster of sorts, or a kit that does more damage the higher the combo you get

    Also for pyro you could make it drop an ignited TNT behind the player that would do damage to whoever activated it but the surrounding players.

    Okay! So, putty, I have 2 ideas. My idea is similar to @NineNineNine suggestion, but it's different. For this kit, i'm thinking a debuff kit. This kit should /does come with 5 instant damage, and 3 Poision Potions. (Or something similar) every kill a player were to get using this kit, their potions would return back to their maximum, so in this case it'd restore back to 3 and 5.

    Or a poision sword kit. In this case give a kits sword 30-50% chance of when hitting another player, you'll give them the poision debuff. This shouldn't last to long, but not two short, but for around maybe 10 seconds or so.

    Here's a few ideas:

    Reaper:
    Gear: Diamond helm and boots, leather chest and leggings, sharpness I iron sword, iron Hoe.

    Description: The reaper will be about combo attacks, hitting a player with your scythe (iron hoe), will mark them for death, making your next attack inflict wither II for 10 seconds onto the player.

    Sonic:
    Gear: Full leather armor dyed blue, sharpness III iron sword.

    Description: C'mon, step it up! The Sonic class will be able to zoom around the arena with speed II, the powerful sword combined with the speed will allow skilled strafers to get kills a little easier.

    Beast Master:
    Gear: Chainmail armor, sharpness I iron sword, 10 raw beef to heal wolves.

    Description: The Beast Master never fights alone, you spawn with 2 adult wolves, with every kill you will gain a new baby wolf to help you. (just so you can get more wolves if your originals die).

    Hunter:
    Gear: Full leather armor, sharpness I iron sword, Power I infinity I bow that inflicts slowness I and poison II for 3 seconds. Has infinite speed I.

    Description: Use your poison-tipped darts to slow and poison your enemies, allowing you to get easier and deadly bow combos.

    I feel that first you should fix the problem where you randomly get executed, or take 5-9 hearts of damage without doing anything. It's pretty much why I can't play KitBrawl. Also, switch the anti-cheat already...

    Give ninja a sharp 2 sword and strength 1 (no fire), and add leather leggings.

    Nerfs damage and dot, adds a bit of sustainability.

    Nerf archer to power 3, a lot of the kits can take 1 more hit with that, which is just what is needed.

    Some class with potions, for those ctf people who have never souped in their life.

    (Any of the numbers can be changed)
    Potiondude-
    Sharp 2 iron sword
    Chain helm
    Iron chestplate
    Iron leggings
    Chain boots
    Spawns with 8 insta health II (Or III) potions
    Every kill that would have given soup now gives insta health II (Or III) potions

    I tested with the armor some and it should drop a melee atleast 7 soup if equal skill

    • Which current kits need to be fully removed? Indian needs to be removed completely. No one uses it at all.
    • Which kits need a slight buff or nerf? and what? Ninja needs to not have fire aspect swords. Its like buffed pyro.

    [BUG] Swords can break.
    [Temp. Fix suggestion] Enchant the swords with a high unbreaking enchantment.
    [BUG] As a Ninja you can lag back while jumping. Error: "You cannot go from inside the Arena back out."
    [BUG] Soups are "laggy". It takes 0.5 - 1.0 seconds to restore your health. (Not a connection problem as far as I know)
    [BUG] Horses take fall damage.

    [BUFF] Brute: Remove the slowness, you cannot catch up to the other classes.
    [BUFF] Hidden: Hidden needs a Speed III potion, so he can actually catch low life players.
    [BUFF] Hidden: Arrows are still visible even after the player has died.
    [BUFF] Cav. classes: Make the horse invincible.
    Reasons:
    - These classes become useless once the horse dies.
    - You cannot shift click your soups into the inventory.
    - Many more...

    [Class] Magi / Wizzard: Throws Fireballs and Snowballs at players. His items can be restored over time (Every X seconds he gets 1 snowball and 1 Fire Charge back).
    Item limit: 2 Stacks of each item. (?)
    Snowballs: Slows the enemy player for 3 seconds (Slowness II / III) and deals X damage. (?)
    Fireball: Ignites the enemy player and deals X additional damage. (?)
    Armor: Chainarmor (?)
    Weapon: Ironsword (?)
