Fix the damn particles

I personally think we should just reduce the density of particles.

Who else do you know whines and complains about particles as much as you do? Oh wait, nobody. Why? Because they turn off their f^cking particles. Why don't you read our posts because apparently this is basically the **** that comes out of you.

 

Get OptiFine or ajust setting or just get a new computer.

 

Try changing your video settings to near. And you can use Optifine to help improve your speed. I'd also recommend using a software utility tool like AVG PC Tune Up. All these factors together really help to speed up your system.

 

That's exactly what you're doing. *****ing about one simple problem when you are too stubborn to fix it yourself.

 

You aren't forced to pvp with particles. You are forced to turn your particles off if you don't want particles. This process takes all of three seconds, so I don't see what the issue is here. Now, if you still wanted particles, however, in smaller quantities, that's a different story. You can't control how much particles are spawned at once. That would require a change from the server. However, you could always change the size and shape of particles yourself by editing and using a resource pack. Anyways, the point is, you do not have to pvp with particles. Simply turn them off in your minecraft settings.

Let's look at the other side of the argument, shall we? Don't worry, I'm not talking for myself, I'm talking for many other people as well. The deal is, I like the particles. I don't want them removed. Why? Because they add a little life to the game, and they don't lag me. If I didn't like them, I would turn them off. However, I do like them, so I keep them on. The point is, not everybody dislikes particles. A lot of people actually like them. Let's go on to the next quote...

Let's look on the other side of this. Everyone on the entire server shouldn't have to go without particles because some people, who can already remove the particles on their side, don't like them. That isn't right. The people who like particles should be able to have them. The people who don't like particles can already turn them off.

Why is this even an issue? If you personally don't like the particles, then you can turn them off. The server should not have to waste valuable time removing a feature that a lot of people like so that people who don't like them won't have to click a button and remove them themselves.

 

Did I say you should apply? No. Please think before you type anything to counter our statements but don't hurt yourself by doing so.

Anything else you have to say? If not, then leave.

 

Just be happy you have a computer that has average of that much.
My laptop costed $1,600 dollars and it's average is 30 fps...
Just don't take what you have for granted.

 

In that case, would you please consider not complaining and instead putting forth your requests using sound reasoning and tact for the sake of others? If not, then at least for not getting in trouble? Just complaining won't get anyone anywhere and it usually leads to trouble as evidenced by most of the responses on this thread. Also, just to clarify, politely asking for change is appreciated and encouraged here on the forums. We are open to new ideas. As long as members are tactful, it won't effect their chances at mod.

I don't see any reason why you had to bring that up but I guess you meant you'll never be staff anywhere else. Anything else you wanna pull out of your bum that we can refute without effort?

 

I couldn't care less about mod, and if you want to assume things about our most prominent members I suggest you stay off of the forums.

 

I like the particles and think they are good but they can be a little excessive. For example, the 7 kill streak with the music notes or the 6 kill streak with hearts covers the whole body and it is harder to aim for the person as it blocks part of their body. The only one that really lags me is the 5 kill streak one with the lava drips, I have no clue why though.

 

I honestly don't think the particles are the problem yes i can agree they can be a little laggy, but you can always turn particles down in your own settings.
