    1. Games that can successfully immerse me into the game, story, and universe are really appealing to me. Video games have some of the best stories ever told, and there is even more to find out then from just the games. Take Halo or the Legend of Zelda for example: the stories are very well done, and make you feel as if you are part of something big.
Other great reasons are just an enjoyment factor, and the social aspects in communities. I like how people can act how they want to act and be who they want to be without having their real life affecting it.
    2. Yes: now, I would not say video games are the cause of violence in people. In my opinion, blaming video games for causing violence in people is a week argument. There are plenty of other forms of media that can incite violence; movies and television namely.
    3. No, I always get my school work done before I start playing.
    4. With school, I probably average an hour a day. Some days I don't play, some days I can play once I get home from school. Depends on my schedule and other factors.

    1. What makes you enjoy a video game?
Sometimes it's like another world, it immerses people into an interesting world, but most of the time I just enjoy playing because it has fun features to it, like Tetris, for example, I enjoy playing the game because I find connecting the pieces enjoyable.

    2. Have you noticed you or someone else become aggressive because of a violent video game?
No, I haven't noticed that, I just assume that's the kind of person who they were born as. I haven't seen anyone gradually change from one state to another.

    3. Have you ever neglected school work or other responsibilities to play a video game?
Many times, but only procrastination, I barely not do my homework.

    4. How many hours on average do you spend playing video games on weekdays?
    2-3 hours

    1. There are many aspects that make a game great, but what really catches me is: A. Story/Immersion B. Content C. Performance

    2. I myself am a very competitive person when it comes to multiplayer games, so there are many occassions where I become aggravated. But it's not the game itself, it's just me as a person. I just become aggressive when approached by a challenge. However, I've never seen anybody take a drastic change due to some influence of a violent/competitive game.

    3. I have, and I've admittedly done poorly on many a-test due to procrastination.

    4. Oh God am I supposed to keep count?

    1. What makes you enjoy a video game?
Atmosphere, and while this may sound strange, I find that playing a game that gives me an atmosphere, will draw me in much faster and just add to immersion so much more. Having a story is one part of this, however I feel that a game can flat out thrust you into something, such as a horror game, and you can build this atmosphere. However, you have to willingly give into the game, you have to let yourself enjoy it, you have to play without something in your world bothering you, and once you achieve that, the emotional ties you can feel to other characters is astounding. I cried for 15 minutes when Dogmeat died in Fallout 3, if a game can bring me to tears, it's drawn me in, and that's exactly what makes a game good on its core. In addition, the gameplay needs to be smooth, it needs to be a game, but not stagger any elements, it needs to be what it is, with twists, turns, upgrades, etc, but it all needs to flow, the game can't be rigid, it has to be fluid, and that's what will draw you in more.

So, in lamens terms, it's as though i'm building this bond with something that's not real, it's like an escape, it can influence you, enhance you, and anything that alters you to your advantage, is a good thing most of the time.

    2. Have you noticed you or someone else become aggressive because of a violent video game?
Oh God yes, I've kicked holes in my walls from WarZ, hell I even broke a Wii remote cause of a game I was playing when I was younger, in my mind it's because of how much it can influence you, when you get sucked in, and then when something snaps in that world, it echoes back to your world.

    3. Have you ever neglected school work or other responsibilities to play a video game?
Surprisingly, almost never, I always would put my school first, and would constantly try to maintain other responsibilities, however, I essentially did nothing but play video games once done at a point in my life.

    4. How many hours on average do you spend playing video games on weekdays?
Quite honestly I'm not sure, it varies since I'm not enrolled in school, but I'd say a few hours here and there every other day or so.

    1. What makes you enjoy a video game? It's something fun to do in my spare or down time.

    2. Have you noticed you or someone else become aggressive because of a violent video game? Nope

    3. Have you ever neglected school work or other responsibilities to play a video game? I wouldn't say I neglected them, it did force me to be better with my time. Again this is my downtime so I can relax after all my other things are done so I guess I would say no.

    4. How many hours on average do you spend playing video games on weekdays? Maybe 0-2 hours.

1: The strategic aspects involved in progressing. I don't like games if they don't require some high level of thinking and/or planning to play.

    2: No. That's ridiculous.

3: No. That's even more ridiculous.

4: Perhaps 1-2 hours daily, 6-7 per school week.

    1. What makes you enjoy a video game?
The feeling of getting better over time but also the people that are around you. You can play alone and have fun but I find myself having the most fun playing with other people.

    2. Have you noticed you or someone else become aggressive because of a violent video game?
Yes. However this is not the kind of aggressive that the media describes. People do get mad about the game sometimes but it doesn't get that far of killing someone. Also, this isn't for just violent games, it happens with other games too (Mainly competitive games)

    3. Have you ever neglected school work or other responsibilities to play a video game?
No. I try to always put my school before video games and it seems to work out great lately

    4. How many hours on average do you spend playing video games on weekdays?
I play around 1-2 hours, sometimes 3. I spend far more time on the internet though.
