Idea Riot Shields [ 1.9 Planned Feature ]

    In Minecraft's planned features for 1.9 there is going to be a lot of new things that can either break WarZ to shreds (which it probably will due to left hand - right hand etc and inventory changes) but they've announced SHIELDS.

    This means a player could now equip a shield in their left or right hand (on preference) with a gun in another.
    The damage decrease a Riot shield could maybe do is well thought out and submitted by another user here: https://www.brawl.com/threads/18386/

    I think if Riot Shields were to be added, they should be hard to find. Zone 6 only - More rare than diamond.

    In the possible many bad things 1.9 will do to WarZ, this will probably be one of the good ones I can think of.

    [I am aware that WarZ development has been halted, but maybe this is something that can be added in the New DayZ server or whatever.]

    Riot shields seem more like a CoD suggestion than one for WarZ.

    True! and i feel like that would be pretty crazy though. Noting that it would make a full D even tankier then they are now. People can already tank crazy shots and will be able to tank even better combos with this. But that's a good idea though… I just don't think that it would fit Warz and its gameplay style. :/

    It could be added in the DayZ server, but the player would only be able to carry a pistol in the other hand. Larger guns like the Barrett require two hands to hold.

    I feel as if it's a great idea, but if it's rarer than diamond not many people will use it, they will store it only and test it out with friends.
