MY DREAM, Was crushed

Being a mod on war isn't great.

 

It's horrible... I've lost hours of my life and missed on events that I really ragret missing... It's really not something to be proud of. It's equal to saying... "Hey Mom and Dad! Look! I use up hundreds of hours every month to help people that I don't even know instead of spending time with you"... If the title was all you were going for, I'd rather pay putty $1000 for a generic ass title than use the time I used. Also, you should help people regardless of mod or not... Anyways, if it means anything... THE CAVS WON THE SECOND GAME LMAO LEGGO

 

Lol all these mods talking about how it sucks....

 

Honestly, being a mod in McWar is very simliar to being an McWar Youtuber.

1. Everyone calls on your name, flooding the chat with your name.
2. Demands. More demands than the average housewife.
3. At least mods can kick 9 year old tards out unlike me who pretend nothing is wrong at the moment.

He means that you won't be able to apply for War mod (War doesn't take priority moderation) once the CoD server is released.

 

Dreams are not meant to go quietly into the night......like the Cavs. If you want to achieve your dream you have to pound it into submission until you get it.

If everything in life was easy it wouldn't be a challenge.

As a (former) mod, I can tell you that it's a joke at times, and the times when it's not, there's absolutely NO satisfaction in helping the server.
You can help the server just as much as a normal player, believe me.

 

I don't really think it sucks. you get to meet a lot of new people and help the community. The one down side is the people that hate on you but other then that it's fun!

 

One of the best things about being moderator is teamspeak. I love helping people on there because it's like a voice to voice conference. It's really not all that bad. Of course I'm new and I say that now, but I predict a long road ahead of me, regardless of how meaningful it is.
Take this into account for, Turkey. Making threads like these won't really help the matter. Instead of telling is how much you want it - show us. We want you to prove to us that you are willing to hold this position not for the rank, but for the sake of the server.

 

There is of course both downsides and good sides that follows with the moderator rank. I wouldn't say that I regret my time as a moderator, I've had a lot of fun while being a mod, and playing with other mods and other players. However, the responsibility and the requirements are not that cool. You're required to do work when you're on, and if you don't, you'll most likely get some kind of negative feedback. Either from higher staff or just normal players. The amount of spam and **** that goes on in the chat are also enough to take a day off in my eyes.

It's not bad to be a moderator in general, it's great, but sometimes it's just not great at all.

 

How many mods are there actually in mc-war? Because when there are like 40 people on, there is at highest 2 moderators on. And then you have the less crowded server where you cant find any moderator. I think it is needed to have more mods instead of less mods. It would be easier for the moderators to handle hard situations, and I think it will bring less hackers.

We have 13 Mc-War moderators as of right now, divided on 8 Mc-War servers. The issue we have is the time zones or the fact that many of these moderators have other Brawl servers to moderate as well. If anything shoot a message in the shoutbox or slack, or use /report to get some in-game assistance.

 

I honestly don't think hackers are a huge problem. I very rarely see them...
I friend all of the mods for the game modes I play on; when I have a problem, I can message them even if they are in the main lobby or a different game lobby. I have even PM'd Admins on the forums when I had issues, and I have always gotten very expedited and helpful replies. I don't see a need for an overabundance of mods. I also don't see a significant reason NOT to have more mods, but this isn't a reason to lower high standards for mod positions...
