You are totally right, but I don't think they should stop accepting new mods

 

Have they already stopped accepting new mods or are McWar mods just not a priority?

Message, I've been meaning to ask you... What is with the Latin on the wiki page for Team Speak?

 

This Wiki page has been WIP for quite a while, and since I'm not the editor on it, I don't really know what to say about it. I will inform other Wiki team members of this problem, since my field of responsibility covers MS, WarZ and War.
And please, next time, write on my wall or inform our Wiki staff without moving away from the topic of the thread.

We are not accepting War Moderators right now because we have enough, but if we loose some War Mods we might be accepting more again.

War Appliations are closed currently because there are too many players applying for it.

This doesn't mean there will be no more moderators for it.

I've been a Mod on numerous servers and I would agree. #Don't believe the hype.

I have way more fun doing things my way. I get to support the Mods, be an enforcer when I need to be, and have fun doing my thing.

Personally, I don't need the title of Mod to earn the respect of people I meet. The real power is the ability to speak like a Mod without having to deal with the rest of the junk. That my friend is something you have to learn and work on by yourself.

Try out for WarZ. They have 3 full time mods.

I do play WarZ. Just not a lot. :3 What kind of hackers do you see there?

 

Blinkers, Kill arua'ers, reachers, hmmmm what else. Oh yes, Auto sneakers, Tracers, X-Rayers and many more that I cant think of... Not to count the dozens of DDoSers (even though it's not "hacking"

Yeah they need more WarZ mods because of the amount of hackers and stuff.

Sadly there are like 12 War mods and like 1 PVP survival mod..

@turkeywing_999 Its okay bud. I only ended one friendship defending your campaign which I ended up being annoyed at. ;-;

Seriously though, now we can go back to being partners in arms, dominating War like in the old times. =P

And anyway, it's not like you have to be a Mod to have a positive effect on the community. I try and help new users a lot, and other people with questions, and honestly I respond sooner and more often than a Moderator does if one is online.

 

Here, if it makes things less painful for you, I'll share my personal experience with you. Being a mod is great. Being a War mod is, well... let's just say that I wasn't a huge fan of the times I moderated War.

The upsides: The chat isn't too terrible when you are on a server. Why? Because you have the power to whip some butts into shape if necessary. That was my favorite part of moderating War. I didn't have to sit back and take the usual garbage that most people get. I got to do something about it, which made my War experience a little better.

The downsides: You are so busy whipping butts into shape that you literally do not get to play a single match of War half the time. This is what made it so dreadful. You didn't get to play. You got to moderate. >:V

Whipping butts into shape is fun, just not if it's all you do for hours. >:V
