My Grandpa And His New Laptop

    I just had to post this because this story is just that funny ok XD

    So my grandpa just recently 2 weeks ago bought this top of the line laptop with XEON core and a Nividia 980GTX built in (For you non-nerds its will just mean new parts for a computer) and his laptop had a price tag of $2100. Well I came over to his house today and he showed me his new laptop and said if I could fix his "Virus Issue" on his laptop. Well, Using windows 7 defense on full scan found 114 viruses built into the laptop making me realize why my dad never lets him use our PC's at my house.

    After the "Virus Cleanup" that took about 4 hours most of the viruses were still appearing and I asked my grandpa if he had his important stuff backed up somewhere because we had to Format (ERASE EVERYTHING) off of his hardrive and start from scratch. I installed windows 8.1 to his computer for a little surprise to make his life easier and such, well 10 minutes into him using his "Fixed" laptop I had to stop him because I saw him search (I'm not even kidding) "Google chrome full latest version free no virus" now who in the right mind would search that exactly.........

    Well now I'm home but I'm pretty sure there are like 30 viruses on it already :l.

    I could literally own a mansion because I got his old laptop, I had over 2000 viruses on it, I couldn't even open control panel XD

    you bought a top of the line laptop for web browsing?
    thats like buying a skyline and not tune it and only go 60 on the highway
    thats like wearing rick owens to grocery shopping
    thats like getting a degree in engineering and do accounting
    why
    couldnt you save money just by buying a chromebook?
    so much questions

    It's impossible to have a Xeon Processor in a laptop. I highly doubt that this is a true story.

    Reminds me of when my friend looked up "get minecraft for free" on my old pc because at the time he was not allowed to have an account... The computer had over 500 viruses on it.

    He got a GTX980M for browsing the web!? All he needs now is a bugatti veyron for driving to the local store, and a top notch bank safe to keep his garbage in.

    Instead of burning 2000$ and throwing it in the bin afterwards, he should just have gotten a chromebook and some top quality anti-virus software. In addition, a course on how to use a computer would probably have been a good idea aswell.
