Switching items in furnace/enchanting table

    If you hit 2 on an item in your inven, it should switch positions with the item in the 2 slot. However, this doesn't work when you are in a furnace/enchanting table. It's not too big of a deal with those, but when you open your inven on a horse, you can't switch as well. It's quite bad for the Rider kit as shift clicking also doesn't work, so can change pls?

    I noticed that in feast chests as well. I would go to switch a diamond sword to my 1 slot right before someone attacks me and it would just go back in the chest.

    Tested this, it is true - vanilla allows you to "number switch".
    Haven't personally purchased Rider so I can't test that.
    Also, @NSBthreesome, this should probably be in the Bug Reports section of the forums :stuck_out_tongue:

    It's just so that Urgals or any other kit can't glitch give the other person their kit items, similar to how you can't drop your kit item. I'm not quite sure why though it would effect something like a diamond sword, but I've just always learned to shift items into my inventory and not number key them in the feast :s.

    Me too, but I'm more concerned for the Rider kit. IDK if it was changed in 1.8, but you can't shift click items into your hotbar when you open your inven on a horse. So in Soup HG, the only way to refill is to switch-fill (unless you can Admiral Mason it), but you can't coz of this thing. (Does any1 understand what i just said?)

    There's still a way to glitch your kit items, it's just an excruciatingly painful long time to finish doing it. In the end, you get a lotta urgal pots / whatever kit you had :wink:
