Why do you guys think brawl is going downhill?

All servers are like that, with a few exceptions.

I think its because the brawl coders lack refreshing updates and fixes, a game without a update for many years becomes repetetive very fast, therefore most players went to other servers / games. Another big reason is that minecraft in general has been swarmed by annoying kids who will split your router in two for the smallest reason.

 

Forum is best server.

 

1. The community is getting filled to the brim with little 6 year old that only bought it because of a youtuber that plays it.
2. Not a single major update on any of the servers in the past few months.

The forums are still going alright. The servers on the other hand... let's just move on with that shall we?

 

Brawl really needs to hire more coders. No more said.

 

Good coders are hard to find ya know.
Even if we get a lot of coders and we have a few mess-ups in the coding, people are going to complain non-stop over the problems. So it isn't easy.

 

True but still we need more to manage all the current problems. For example Survival has a PvP logging glitch for over 5 months and nothing has changed. It would be good if there was a coder for each server and then a head coder like Brittan.

EDIT: That would actually waste money so there should be a coder managing 2 or 3 servers at the max.

 

I think the problem is that there are more servers popping up that have better coding, more entertaining games, and just overall better. Look at Minecraft Party. Brawl's most popular server. But that's not because it has so many servers, it's because it consists of minigames, something Brawl does not have much of. Mineplex, the most popular Minecraft server ever created, is all minigames. No War-Z, no Survival PvP, no games that take time and effort. People have low attention spans and don't like things that take time. Which explains why servers like Brawl don't have as many players.

Community. Team Fortress 2 still stands strong even over a decade before TF Classic was released thanks to community workshops and frequent updates. Even stronger would be CSGO community with a greater rate of updates per year.

 

Updates is the thing Brawl lacks the most.

 

The major lag problem that just happen. Also soon inof one day it will, what will happen to the server if chap_ leaves

Also a lot of popular youtubers go on different servers. Showing how that server is. So most minecraft players see that and go to that one server

 

I'd rather have a buggy refreshing game with weekly updates instead of playing the exact same thing over and over again

Well, that's true. I'd actually love that as well. It would be quite fun actually to see bugs glitching out in the most funniest ways possible (that's if they don't crash the servers)

 

That's the meaning of skate 3 haha. But i like to divide bugs into two sections: Visual funny and entertaining bugs, and annoying technical bugs that does nothing but piss you off, for example, the well beloved clan glitch.

 

As an mcpvper I can say that Brawl doesn't have much to worry about. Once Brawl resorts to a single coder and the owner working on updates then there would be issues. They seem to be working on entirely new gamemodes which lead to a lack of updates, but sometimes a new fresh IP is better than refreshing an old one.

Currently, Brawl seems fine as is and they are making an effort to gain a new playerbase.

 

Ill tell you why each server is dying.

War- To many high level players. It makes it almost impossible for new players to play.

WarZ- The big teams

SSG- The new "update" that made it really generic.

MCparty- That gamemode just sucks imo

Minestrike- It just does not have many ppl playing it.

Brawl in general- Lack of good updates.

 

HereCreeper about the minestrike there is a lot of people who play it. They just play in the mornings and some where around 3-5 pm is when its most active

Also the mcwar all the donator items in infected kindof ruins it. C4 you cant hide in good spots grenades well ruins anywhere you hide. Flashbang you see anything within a 3 block radius. I have to admit I like how Brawl was when it first open. with mcwar the rainbow parkour and the maps and all had all the sweet spots. Now all those spots are block. And yes all the good players ruins the newcomers from actually liking the server
